How Do You Get to Carnegie Hall? - S4-E8
Lenny: What are you wearing?
Midge: I'm wearing my show corset.
Lenny: You have a show corset?
Midge: Yes.
Lenny: How is this different from, say, your dentist corset?
Midge: It's much more likely to suffocate me. It's also prettier.
Lenny: Yep. It's always the pretty ones who try to kill you.

Trivia: Jason Ralph, who plays TV producer Mike Carr, is Rachel Brosnahan's (Midge) real-life husband.

Other mistake: After the crazy guy threatened Roseanne when she was working alone at the Lunch Box, Dan wanted to teach her and Jackie how to use a gun for protection. Dan seems to have forgotten that Jackie was a cop for the Lanford Police Force and already is trained in firearms use. He regularly saw her in uniform with a sidearm.

Character mistake: Carl, carrying his gun, goes up the outside staircase before entering Frank's apartment. When he encounters the frightened cleaning woman, he flashes his F.B.I. badge at her to identify himself. However, he only shows her the back of the black I.D. wallet, which has no markings on it.

Plot hole: All the teen girls are about the same age and always in the same grade-level during their three years at St. Francis. There are no younger new students arriving each fall, nor do older ones graduate in the spring. Every student graduates at the end of the three years. Schools do not accept a new crop of students every three years.

Plot hole: All the girls at St. Francis are in their mid-teens and have families who can afford to send them to private Catholic school, so these are not orphans or underprivileged children. However, we are supposed to believe that none of the girls own or wear bras, shocking the Mother Superior when she sees them in their dance leotards. The nuns then take the girls shopping to buy each one a bra.

Plot hole: Norman, the orphaned new-born calf, could not have survived more than a few days after birth unless he was adopted by a foster-mother cow. The cattle were not dairy cows, and it's obvious the "cowboys" are not providing milk or other sustenance for Norman. Even if he had lived, he would be extremely weak and emaciated and physically unable to run with the herd.
Suggested correction: We see that they are providing said food for Norman, and secondly, we never see if another cow does indeed do exactly that. After all, they can give milk, just not enough to sell, so Norman could indeed get fed.

Continuity mistake: From the time the army first attempts to destroy the Martians until the movie's end, Sylvia wears the same blue dress. Despite sheltering in an army bunker, being in a plane crash, jumping into ditches, running through woods, escaping a demolished house, and evading a frantic mob, her hair remains perfectly coiffed and her dress stays clean and undamaged.

Episode #5.6 - S5-E6
Continuity mistake: When Lady Mary is competing in the Point-to-Point horse race, she is riding her mount sidesaddle style, wearing a long-skirted riding habit. When she (actually the stunt rider) jumps a hedge, she is now riding astride, with both legs over the horse and using a two-stirrup saddle. Also regular riding breeches (pants) are underneath the long skirt when it flies up a bit. These would never be worn with this type of lady's riding habit.

Continuity mistake: When Dallas is giving the two baby elephants a bath with the hose, her lower pantlegs get drenched as she is kneeling on the wet ground. When she gets up to turn off the water, her pants are now mostly dry.

Continuity mistake: At the end, when Margaret shoots Mike, for the last three fatal shots, the gun is pointed in a direction that would not hit his body and would instead shoot the wall, slightly to his right. This can be seen in the from-behind, overhead camera shot as she fires at him.

Trivia: When Waldo and Loco (Betty Grable) are at the lodge, Loco says the music playing on the radio is Harry James. Waldo asks how she knows that, and she says she just knows that it's him. This is a movie in-joke because at that time, Grable was married to Harry James, the famous bandleader, in real life.

Plot hole: After Ann retrieves Tibor Zoldan's music box from the pawn shop, she finds the incriminating photos of her Nazi father, Michael Laszlo, hidden in it. Even though Zoldan (who had died) could have redeemed the music box from the pawn shop within a certain time period, it makes no sense that he would have pawned it with the photos left inside. The photos were how Zoldan was able to blackmail Laszlo. It's highly unlikely he would have forgotten they were in there.

Continuity mistake: At Claire and Owen's mountain cabin, as they, and also Maisie, have been going up and down the snow-covered front stairs, there are no footprints left on the steps. It is only later that the snow looks somewhat disturbed.
