Continuity mistake: Just after Kim was taken from under the bed, Brian talks to the Albanian on Kim's cell phone. Just after the bad guy tells Brian, "Good luck," the loud clicking sound of a heavy, old-style phone receiver being hung up is then heard, disconnecting them. However, a cell phone does not make that sound when a call is ended.

Continuity mistake: When Roseanne is talking on the phone to Jackie, she continually moves around the kitchen while preparing dinner. The extra-long phone cord goes from being completely wrapped around her waist to just being behind her, then wrapped around her again, without moving in a way that would unwind it.

Like, a New Job - S3-E4

Continuity mistake: Darlene and Becky's second-story bedroom window is on the side of the house and at the house's backside (D.J.'s room is at the front). However, when the girls argue and throw each other's items out the window, everything falls into the front yard, as viewed from the living room. Even if they threw stuff from the house's front, the roof extends too far out below two smaller upper windows. Everything would land on the roof.

Continuity mistake: From the time the army first attempts to destroy the Martians until the movie's end, Sylvia wears the same blue dress. Despite sheltering in an army bunker, being in a plane crash, jumping into ditches, running through woods, escaping a demolished house, and evading a frantic mob, her hair remains perfectly coiffed and her dress stays clean and undamaged.

Episode #5.6 - S5-E6

Continuity mistake: When Lady Mary is competing in the Point-to-Point horse race, she is riding her mount sidesaddle style, wearing a long-skirted riding habit. When she (actually the stunt rider) jumps a hedge, she is now riding astride, with both legs over the horse and using a two-stirrup saddle. Also regular riding breeches (pants) are underneath the long skirt when it flies up a bit. These would never be worn with this type of lady's riding habit.

Continuity mistake: When Dallas is giving the two baby elephants a bath with the hose, her lower pantlegs get drenched as she is kneeling on the wet ground. When she gets up to turn off the water, her pants are now mostly dry.

Continuity mistake: At the end, when Margaret shoots Mike, for the last three fatal shots, the gun is pointed in a direction that would not hit his body and would instead shoot the wall, slightly to his right. This can be seen in the from-behind, overhead camera shot as she fires at him.

Continuity mistake: At Claire and Owen's mountain cabin, as they, and also Maisie, have been going up and down the snow-covered front stairs, there are no footprints left on the steps. It is only later that the snow looks somewhat disturbed.

It's Comedy or Cabbage - S3-E5

Continuity mistake: When Midge descends the hotel's grand staircase, the piano player and guests are below. Once down the stairs, Midge finds Abe and Rose sitting in chairs with their luggage, just to the right of the piano, in front of a large pillar, with a round sofa behind. However, when Midge was walking down the stairs, the lobby looks different. The piano is in the same position relative to the stairs, but her parents and the chairs are missing and the round sofa is a different style and the shape of the carpeting in front of the pillar is also different.

Continuity mistake: When Benjamin is driving Midge back from the Catskills to New York City, he briefly is driving on the left-hand side of the two-lane country road (which is not a one-way).

Continuity mistake: During the train club car scene, in the booth next to the foursome (on the left side of the screen) the large menu card leaning against the window continually appears and disappears.

Continuity mistake: When the foursome first arrive at the inn, the general and his granddaughter walk in, both carrying firewood. The granddaughter's bundle suddenly changes shape where one piece of wood is sticking out, then everything is neatly together.

Continuity mistake: When Sirius and Lupin cast a spell to change Pettigrew from a rat and back into human form, he is fully clothed, as was Sirius when he changed from a dog. Later, when Pettigrew changes back into a rat to escape, his clothes remain behind as he shrinks.

Continuity mistake: When Melanie is showing the nosey reporter around the Carmichael mansion, she peers through the kitchen door's porthole window and sees the top of the maid's head on the other side. She quickly steers the reporter in a different direction. The scene cuts to a shot of the maid inside the kitchen, only now she's much shorter and her head is about six inches below the window.

Halloween - The Final Chapter - S8-E5

Continuity mistake: Roseanne becomes pregnant at the beginning of Season 7, and it is before the Halloween and Thanksgiving episodes, so she is in her first trimester during the holidays. However, Roseanne does not give birth until the following year in the Season 8 Halloween episode. Her pregnancy has lasted for well over a year.

Continuity mistake: When Cathy Ryan is lying in the hospital bed, Jack gently strokes her forehead. The shot changes view, and Cathy's long hair is now in a different position around her neck and shoulders.

The One With All The Kissing - S5-E2

Continuity mistake: A few days after the friends have returned to New York following Ross' wedding, Monica's hair is suddenly about three inches longer and a completely different style than it was in London. It was previously just above her shoulders in a sleek "pageboy" style. Once back home, it is much bushier and longer, well over her shoulders. This was obviously due to Courtney Cox growing her hair during the break in-between Season 4, which ended with the Ross/Emily wedding debacle, and Season 5. (The first episode of Season 5 was filmed the previous season and was Part 2 of Ross and Emily's wedding).

Continuity mistake: When Will Parry visits his grandparents, the grandmother is sitting on the sofa next to Will's grandfather. The grandmother's position keeps changing from sitting right next to him to being further apart.

Continuity mistake: When Matt is angrily talking to the comatose Elizabeth in the hospital, her mouth continually changes. From the side shot of her face, her lips are partially apart. When the shot is looking directly down on Elizabeth, her mouth is now opened much wider. It continually changes back forth as the camera angle switches.
