New this month Factual error: Lisa the Tree Hugger: After saving Lenny and Carl, Bart aims his slingshot at the target controlling the factory and fires a stone from the slingshot, hitting the target. Once the stone hits the target, debris from the impact can be seen flying off the target showing that it has been destroyed, but as the dust clears, the target is virtually intact.
Other mistake: Big Super Happy Fun Fun Game: When Homer is crossing the bridge in the lava part of the level, as he reaches the second half of one of the logs, he begins to weigh down the log. If you switch to Homer Ball, he logs becomes less weighed down than when he was regular Homer, despite the fact that Homer Ball is basically an obese and more overweight Homer.
Continuity mistake: Lisa the Tree Hugger: In the opening shot from the first cutscene in this level, there is dirt at the bottom of the door to the Auntie Nature logging company. The door is there throughout the opening cutscene, but there is no sign of the mud at the bottom of the door in any other shot.
Continuity mistake: Mob Rules: When Ned says Grand Theft Scratchy is going to turn kids into Stabby Sam's and Drive-by Denny's, Lisa is standing straight facing Ned and Marge is standing 90° to the right. The shot cuts and suddenly Lisa is standing 90° to the left facing Marge and Marge is standing straight forwards facing Ned.
Continuity mistake: Mob Rules: When Mayor Quimby and the games producer notice the mob of parents outside the building, Marge is standing near the front of the mob and a senator is standing next to her. When the shot cuts to focus on the senator, Marge is no longer standing next to the senator and has been replaced by Snake Jailbird.
Continuity mistake: Enter the Cheatrix: When Professor Frink shows Bart and Lisa the strategy guide, Frink's left hand is holding onto one side of it. Two of his fingers are located next to Krusty and his little finger is partially obscuring Nelson. The shot cuts to a closer shot and his fingers are suddenly further away from both the image of Krusty and Nelson.
Continuity mistake: Shadow of the Colossal Donut: Homer and Bart run past Kent Brockman in an attempt to go after Lard Lad. After running past Brockman, they turn onto the street on their left. Brockman goes after them, but instead of turning left, instead runs straight forward, but somehow still interviews Homer and Bart whilst running down the street anyway.
Continuity mistake: Enter the Cheatrix: After Bart and Lisa have saved Professor Frink, Frink hands the strategy guide to Bart. Professor Frink activates the Rift Portal and Bart and Lisa walk over to it. At this moment, the strategy guide has vanished from Bart's hand. The guide reappears once Bart and Lisa have gotten in the Rift Portal.
Continuity mistake: Invasion of the Yokel Snatchers: When Homer and Bart are watching the mall being invaded, there is a fountain visible in the far background, next to the the mall. An alien is peeing in the same fountain beside the mall and mall security arrives. When the shot cuts back to Homer and Bart, we can see they are suddenly much closer to the water fountain.
Continuity mistake: Bargain Bin: When the mothership turns away from the Simpson house, the Simpsons are watching Springfield being destroyed by the aliens. Bart is holding the strategy guide with the spine being faced above the rest of the guide. The shot cuts to an angle from in front of the family, and the spine of the strategy guide is facing below the rest of the guide.
Continuity mistake: Bargain Bin: When the Simpsons arrive in the game engine, they are standing away from the edge and not on the yellow/black markings on the platform. A few seconds later, Homer walks off the edge of the platform, and suddenly, they are on the edge of the platform and on the markings.
Other mistake: Big Super Happy Fun Fun Game: At the start of this level, Mr. Dirt (i.e. Milhouse) emerges from the ocean, but Mr. Dirt is approximately 30 feet tall and the water is far too shallow for him to have been hiding his entire body inside the water. The water only goes up to his knee area whilst he is standing in the ocean.
Other mistake: Game Over: When the game engine is being destroyed, Private Burns and the skeleton of Otto are exiting the wrong game. Private Burns was a character featured in Medal of Homer, but he is exiting the NeverQuest game and the skeleton of Otto was one of the side villains to destroy in the NeverQuest game, but is exiting the Medal of Homer game.
Continuity mistake: Game Over: Whilst escaping the game engine, Bart points to the portal to Springfield. On the left hand side of the screen is a sign saying "Hot Off QA" on the light fixture for the Medal of Homer game. In the next shot, the A in the sign is suddenly tilted. The light fixture also receives further damage.
