Mistake Revealing: A horse gallops through a field and you can see a telephone pole.

Mistake Continuity: In the scene towards the end where Richard Gere kills the leader of the bad guys, he steps back and at the bottom of the screen you can see that the sword hasn't got a proper blade - it has one that is about an inch long.

Mistake Revealing: In the raid scene where we first meet Malagant, a four-sided wooden tower is shown on fire, and then it collapses from the damage. However, the tower's front legs don't buckle and as it falls, the burning tower appears to be completely intact -- it has simply been pulled down by ropes that are partially visible from the front.

Mistake Continuity: One of Malagant's knights holds Guinevere captive and tells Lancelot to throw down his sword. Lancelot drops the weapon at his own feet and takes a few steps forward to reason with the knight. Later on when the knight is dead, Lancelot simply bends down and picks up his sword from the ground. How did it get there? By right it should have been a few yards BEHIND him.

Mistake Factual error: When Arthur marries Guinevere, the altar is decorated with yellow hybrid tea roses. Hybrid teas were not developed until the late 19th Century; yellow ones would not have been available in England until approximately the 1950s.

Mistake Continuity: After the town in the beginning is ransacked and burned, the leader of the pack is giving his speech about who is their leader. He carries a sword with serrations on one side towards the hilt. A shot of his horse is shown and the serrations of his sword are pointing out at the crowd. The shot switches to behind him and the serrations are pointing towards him.

Mistake Continuity: In the scene where Guinevere's coach is attacked and she tells her maids to jump out the coach door is torn off by a tree, but after the rescue when the coach returns the door is back on.

Mistake Continuity: When the grey mare has escaped and Lancelot begins chasing her, watch her footfalls and listen to the hoofbeats - the two are totally out of sync.

Mistake Continuity: When Guinevere is being taken to Arthur they are stopped by a felled tree. But when you look out the front of the carriage, there's no tree on the road. Also, if the tree was really blocking the road, how could the horse and carriage suddenly charge off and easily get around this tree?

Mistake Continuity: When they are in the forest in the rain after they escape from the bad guys castle; they have a back and forth moment where Lancalot's hair on his ear changes from shot to shot. When the camera is behind him you can see a thick rope of wet hair across his ear, and when the shot changes, the ear is clear of any hair.

Mistake Continuity: Closely watch the horses that are being used throughout the movie. The horse ridden by King Arthur and the one ridden by Maligant are one and the same. Also, the bay horse ridden by the stableboy is the same horse used to transport the kidnapped Guinivere to Maligant's castle. This would be okay, but both these horses are very distinct-looking, and it's painfully obvious that they're being shared.

Mistake Continuity: When Guinevere is about to meet Arthur for the first time, her hair is down when she's in the carriage and when she steps down to the ground. However, in the next shot of her walking forward, her hair is in an intricate updo.

Mistake Revealing: The scene with Richard Gere making his way through the obstacle machine is the single worst display of blue screen work ever created.
