Samantha: There's no such thing as bad publicity.
Carrie: Of course you'd say that, you're a publicist.
Concerning the entire Wall Street/Stock Market scenes; Sex And The City was the very first production to film in the New York Stock Exchange since the movie Wall Street. They filmed these scenes at the actual NYSE. Because it was after 9-11, every piece of camera equipment, prop, costume, etc. had to be sniffed by bomb-sniffing dogs. This was the very first non-official event that was let into the Stock Market after 9-11. Every extra that you can see on the Stock Market floor was an actual trader. Also, Sex And The City got to open the real Stock Market, on the day the show premiered. See more...

Continuity: During the scene when Carrie and Sam are in the changing booth at the clothing store, Carrie starts helping Sam take his shirt off. She pulls the outer plaid shirt down quite a bit, revealing his white undershirt. But in the next shot of him, Sam suddenly has the plaid shirt back up around his neck. Then in his next shot, it's back down and the white undershirt is showing again.
Continuity: Carrie and her friends are in the City, waiting for the bus with her photo on it to drive by. When it does, there is a shocking hand-drawn image of a sexual nature near her head on the poster. In the next shot of this image, which is more of a close-up; it's a different drawing. Very similar, but obviously not the same drawing as shown the first time.
