When Napoleon and Pedro ride up to the school to put up the fliers, chiseled in stone on the school are the words "Preston Junior High School" while the sign underneath says "Preston High School". [This could actually happen. In the town I used to live in, the high school was converted to a junior high school and they did not bother to change the words that were carved into the facade of the building, they just put up new signs on the lawn.]

Comments made in brackets are corrections from other visitors. As such, any aggressive/abusive corrections (and I get quite a few) written as if they're comments I've made myself will be ignored. To submit your own corrections for mistakes, just click the edit icon under an entry, then choose "correct entry". Some entries have "duplicated entry" after them - these are entries which were already listed on the main page, but were submitted again. I occasionally leave these online for a while, just in case they were moved in error, so don't worry about pointing them out to me.

When Napoleon is asking Don for a "Vote for Summer" button, a group of students is standing behind him close to lockers. When Napoleon throws the button down to hall, the party is suddenly gone. [This scene takes place between classes, and people are constantly moving throughout the halls. The crowd has sufficient time to have departed while off camera.]
During the end of the Rex-Kwon-Do commercial, Rex points his finger at the screen. When the text appears, Rex's finger he pointed at the screen with moves up and down in the same repetitive fashion, without Rex's body moving. [This is intentional. It is supposed to be funny, as a) the commercial is poorly made, and b) Rex is flexing his muscles as hard as he can, and the shaking is a result of that. Not a mistake.]
At the dance scene when Trisha waves to Summer you can see Summer is wearing sandals with huge heels. This is only visible on the full-screen version. This seems out of character for Summer as you would expect her to wear dress shoes in her dance dress because she is the popular prissy girl of the school. Maybe she is wearing these to make her look taller for the film. You can't see her feet in the wide-screen version because they clip the bottom portion of the image when they made the wide-screen version. [Summer's poor choice of shoes isn't a movie mistake.]
In the scene where Napoleon is calling home from school, there is a plate of nachos on the counter behind Kip. As Napoleon and Kip rotate close-ups, the height and thickness of the cheese on the nachos changes drastically with each new shot. [This has been submitted and corrected, and then rejected several times already. This was deliberately done for the humor. It does not even qualify as a deliberate mistake.]
When Uncle Rico is proposing the deal for the 24 piece set, he takes out the "little extra": a ship that fits neatly into the box. But in the next shot the ship is suddenly bigger than the box and would not have fit in it. [It is quite plausible that the boat was in the box at an angle, so that it could easily fit inside.]
In the scene where Kip tells Napoleon he's training to become a cage fighter Kip is typing on the computer in a chat room, but when Napoleon goes down to "Fight" with Kip, the computer is not even on. [It is very likely that Kip turned off only the monitor so that Napoleon would not see what he was saying in the chat rooms.]
All the food in the opening credits is eaten by a main character sometime in the movie. [Not true. I made a list of all the food in the credits and crossed them off every time one of them was eaten. The following never are: the chicken nuggets, the tortilla, the white nachos with red sauce, the lemon candies, and the hamburger.]
When Pedro and Napoleon are waiting in the ditch to give Summer the cake, in the background there is just field and mountains. After Summer answers the door, there is a highway or busy road reflected in the windows. [The road is there when Napoleon and Pedro are waiting in the ditch. Only one car goes by during the shot, and it's hard to see through the tall grass.]
Pedro is penalized for using a pinata that looks like Summer. But in her speech in the end, she says "Who wants to eat chimichangas next year?" This is pretty easily interpreted as a racial slur, surely the principal would have a small problem with it. [The debate scene is the last scene filmed in the school. We have no idea if Summer was punished, penalized, or even talked to for her remark.]
When Napoleon tells Deb that she could be drinking whole milk instead of 1%, Deb is initially wearing one white bracelet on her left arm as she is eating her sandwich. The shot changes to Napoleon speaking again, then back to Deb, at which point she is wearing several different clunky white bracelets. [On the DVD, she's wearing the same bracelets throughout the whole scene.]
When Napoleon is on a lunch break from his "job," he's eating a sandwich and less than 3 seconds/two shots later he has a glass of the "egg juice." There is no way he would be able to grab a glass, pour the drink, and get back where he was standing that quickly. [The scene is like a montage; it's not supposed to be in real time.]
