During the beginning of the film, Al Pacino and Keanu Reeves are on top of the office building. Pacino is promising money, clients, and power to Reeves if he joins his firm. This is a reference to the temptation of Christ where Satan took him to a mountain and showed him all the cities of the world and promised it to him if he bowed down to him. See more...

Continuity: In the scene where Al Pacino and Keanu Reeves are on top of the office building, they walk to the right edge of the roof. When the camera changes from overview to close-up, they only need one or two steps to the edge, but they make at least six steps.
Continuity: When Kevin is running down the street to the church to find MaryAnn, he runs past the colourful spots and in the next shot, which shows his whole body, he has just reached the spots.
Revealing: After a day in court for Alex Cullen, all the press and media run to the phone booths. Watch the dude who runs into the second booth closest to us. He just stands there watching the action, he doesn't use the phone.
Continuity: In the scene where Keanu's wife commits suicide in the psychiatric ward, you see Keanu's secretary stand idle outside the door as he screams for a doctor. In the next shot, just a second or two later, his mother, a nurse, and a few other patients are looking in instead. Then, only a moment later, the two patients have disappeared.
Continuity: In the final showdown at Milton's apartment, when Kevin shoots himself in the head, he is facing forward. However, in one of the shots, you can see Keanu Reeves turn his head down and to his left as he falls, then they cut back to all the slow motion shots of him falling, facing forward.
Revealing: As Mary Ann is dying, Kevin is holding her close to him, hugging her. From the behind shot of Mary Ann, you can see, sticking out from behind the right side of her neck/hair, is a tube and the yellow packet that held the blood/pump.
Continuity: After Mary Ann has locked herself inside of her hospital room, she walks up to the door and you see she only has her left slipper on, the right one is behind her on the floor. In the next shot when she is sitting, about to cut her throat, the right slipper is back on her foot.
Continuity: Al Pacino is talking to Keanu Reeves on top of his office building, every time the camera moves back and forth from Keanu his hair is brushed sideways, and then also sometimes down his forehead.
Revealing: When Mary Ann is slicing her throat open with a piece of the mirror, you can tell it a fake prosthetic rubber neck piece. It is darker and very wrinkled. They show a close-up of her natural neck right before which is smooth and light.
Revealing: In the scene where Kevin informs his mother about his new job in New York they drive away from each other but his mother drives off first. Watch the car, when it turns the corner it goes really slowly and you can tell it stops after it turns the corner.
Continuity: At the end, back in the courtroom, MaryAnn is seen from behind as she leans foward on the rail in front of her court seat but in the next shot, she is sitting up.
Revealing: After Mary Ann slices open her neck, they show a shot of Kevin looking down over her trying to hold her neck. You can see the rubber tube that spurted the blood is sticking out the gaping hole in front.
Revealing: When Kevin is talking to the lady in the red dress out on the terrace on the 12th floor at the cocktail party, it's all too obvious the city in the background was artificial.
Continuity: After winning his last case in Gainesville, Keanu is about to get into his car with his wife. He pulls out her left earring with his mouth and hands it to her while she is on her cell phone. When she is getting into the car two seconds later her earring is back in her left ear. She never puts her hands up to her head to put it back in her ear.
Continuity: In the final scene in Milton's apartment, as he is trying to convince Kevin to join him, the long chain and pendant Milton's wearing switches several times back & forth from being outside his shirt and around his collar to inside underneath his shirt and almost completely invisible.
Continuity: After Kevin shoots himself and Milton becomes enraged, he turns Christabella to a skeleton of ash. In the close up of the skeleton, both of her hands are up near her right shoulder and close together, almost touching. In the far away shot of the skeleton with all the flames, her hands are now far apart. The left shoulder is back and the left hand is bent near her heart.
Visible crew/equipment: When Kevin and Pam are watching the police video of the Moyez raid, as Kevin walks behind Pam, in the wall of windows behind him, you can see the camera man filming and watch him as he swings left to right following Kevin in the shot.
Continuity: After Kevin is introduced to his sister at the end of the movie , as Milton says, "Let me give you some inside information about God", Christabella is holding a cigarette in her left hand. In the next shot, she's holding it with her right hand.
