Revealing: When Dracula drops Mary at the end of the film, she hits the sidewalk and it "gives".

Deliberate "mistake": During the ceiling sex scene, Lucy's hair lays flat against the ceiling with no effects of gravity while Dracula's hair hangs towards the floor fully under the proper force of gravity.

Continuity: When Marcus brings his hand off the fingerprint scanner you can see he is wearing a film allowing him to use someone else's fingerprints. However, note the tip of this index finger, the print is peeled back nearly to the first knuckle and the scan would have certainly failed.

Revealing: When Solina is crawling on the wall, whenever she turns her head, her long hair turns with it, instead of falling freely downward toward the floor.

Visible crew/equipment: When Marcus attacks Simon at the loading dock, as Simon flies through the air after Marcus kicks him, you can see the face of Johnny Lee Miller's stunt double.

Plot hole: In the makeshift morgue when Simon and Matthew first fight the vampires, Solina is shot and pinned to the wall with a large silver nail and remains calm and unaffected. However, moments later Marcus is fighting with Simon and grabs one of same kind of nails but must drop it when it burns his hands. It makes no sense that Solina had no adverse reaction to the nails at all when Marcus reacted so violently.

Continuity: When Mary discovers her father's body under Lucy's bed he has a new wound above his right eye, but the much larger wound he received earlier in the evening fighting Solina and Trick is now missing.

Continuity: When Mary turns on the lightswitch in Lucy's room and shorts out all the lights note the phone that is off the hook at the foot of the bed. The receiver is far enough away from the base that the cord is extended in a "U" shape, however, when the shot moves to close up on the phone the receiver is now close to the base and the cord is now twisted on itself.

Continuity: When Nightshade cuts his thumb on the coffin he sucks the blood off, sits down then shakes his fist in anger splattering some on the coffin. The amount shown in the next shot, being "consumed" by the coffin is completely out of proportion to what could have splattered from that cut if it was 10 times as severe.

Continuity: When Carfax Antiques is first broken into and the security guards are overtaken, note when Marcus throws the glass ball at the second guard. The glass breaks on the guard's face and then falls to the left of the desk into tiny shards and immediately to the ground, yet in the next shot there is massive amounts of glass and in huge pieces on the desk.

Audio problem: When Marcus attacks Simon at the loading dock, Simon attempts to take out his weapon, but Marcus takes the firearm from him before Simon can assemble it. He takes the barrel in one hand and the rest of the weapon in his other hand, but one moment later, he's shown only holding the barrel as he removes the silver nails, meaning he must have dropped or thrown away the other part. However, we never hear any sound of the other part hitting the asphalt, even though Simon picks it up from the ground later during the fight.

Continuity: When Van Helsing injects himself with Dracula's blood, the cuff of his rolled-up sleeve keeps changing between shot.

Continuity: When the thieves open the vault in Carfax Abbey, as Nightshade moves towards the opening, the round door is completely open and is almost touching the wall on the left. In the next shot from inside the vault, the door has moved much further away from the wall. The position changes in the next shot as well.

Revealing: When Solina breaks through the one-way glass to grab the detective you can see the glass is clear, where it should have a reflective coating on one side.

Continuity: When Solina is standing by the window before entering Van Helsing's office, in the shot from outside Carfax Abbey, her right hand is resting on her left elbow. In the following shot from the inside, her hand is under the elbow.

Continuity: When Solina is pinned against the wall after Van Helsing shoots her with a silver nail, as she crashes into the wall, you can see that the large nail is not there (play in slow motion for confirmation). In the next shot, it's suddenly stuck in her shoulder.

Continuity: When Van Helsing opens the chessboard containing the leeches, the lid, consisting of four triangular pieces, is sticking straight up. In the next shot looking down the opening, the lid has mysteriously disappeared.

Continuity: After Solina is spattered with blood after Dax is killed by one of the traps in the vault, the amount of blood on her white coat keeps changing. For example, on the plain, as Dracula moves his head down towards her neck to bite her, there's a huge bloodstain on her shoulder, which wasn't there in the previous shots.

Continuity: After Dracula bites Solina, there's a thin streak of blood on his chin. After Marcus shoots him, the streak becomes thicker, and then becomes thinner again when Marcus shoots the roof of the plane.

Continuity: When Solina hands Van Helsing the manifests, in the wide-shot, she's holding the top of the papers. In the following close-up, she's holding the side of the papers.
