Continuity mistake: When Merritt and Chase leave the magic shop to go for a drink, Jack has his hand placed on top of a reverse rain machine. The shot then cuts to a closer angle of the reverse rain machine where his hand is no longer on top of it. (00:45:20)

Audio problem: When the Horsemen are having their final checks at the science centre, just as Merritt is being checked, Lula is heard saying "I don't speak the language." Lula is visible in the background looking towards Merritt when she says this, but her mouth is not moving when she is speaking. (01:01:40)

Character mistake: At the end of the first movie, when Dylan shows Alma the newspaper article about Lionel Shrike's death, there is an additional article talking about a younger Dylan with the headline "Sad Tale of His Orphaned Son" referring to Dylan, indicating that both of his parents have died. However, in this movie, when Tressler is revealed to be Walter's father, Dylan tells Tressler that Tressler Insurance denied his mother's insurance claim after Lionel Shrike's death. (01:15:50)

Continuity mistake: When Walter finds out about the Horsemen's plan to expose him on New Years Eve, Walter tells a bodyguard to get his father. The bodyguard begins to walk past Walter, but in the next shot, the bodyguard is suddenly at the other end of the room. (01:27:05)

Continuity mistake: When Walter and Tressler arrive in London, Walter gets into a car and begins to close the door. Chase is behind the car walking up to it, but when the car drives off in the next shot, he is suddenly standing beside the car, standing completely still. (01:28:45)

Continuity mistake: After thinking they have thrown the Horsemen off the plane, Tressler peels off the label to the bottle that he and Walter are drinking from and finds the tarot card on it. He is holding the bottle by the bottom when he peels the label, but when he hands the bottle to Walter in the next shot, he is holding the bottle by the top. (01:46:40)

Revealing mistake: When the Horsemen are on the Thames after exposing Walter and Tressler, after Daniel introduces Dylan to the crowd as their leader, there is a shot of Daniel patting Dylan on the back. The shot then cuts to one of the crowds cheering. In this shot, three extras at the front of the crowd can be seen briefly looking at the camera as it passes by. The first is a man in a black coat, red scarf and holding a green glow stick, standing to the right of shot. The second is a woman in glasses standing beside the man. The third is a woman standing to the left of shot wearing a white hat. (01:48:50)

Continuity mistake: When the Horsemen are exposing Owen Case at the OCTA party, as Lula says "He's mocked your privacy. He scorned it", she is standing facing the audience and is mostly covered in stage light. The shot then cuts to Daniel talking, and Lula, visible to the right of shot, is now standing facing Daniel and only half covered in stage light. (00:22:40)

Continuity mistake: When Walter is requesting the Horsemen to steal the computer chip, Merritt is seen with his bow tie untied. Whilst Walter is explaining that the chip is being previewed tomorrow, Merritt has the left side of the bow tie mostly covered up by his jacket, with some of the bow tie sticking out from it. After Walter says they just need to inspect and steal it, the entirety of the left side of the bow tie is now entirely obscured by the jacket. Walter then says back home they are wanted criminals and suddenly, part of the left hand side bow tie is suddenly sticking out from the jacket again. (00:38:45)

Continuity mistake: When Dylan and Thaddeus are leaving the prison and are about to get into the car, Thaddeus tells Dylan his sources are telling him the Horsemen are in Macau. When he finishes the line, he is looking down at the car, but in the next shot, Thaddeus is suddenly looking at Dylan. (00:46:30)

The gangster rolls up the window and the shot cuts to the Horsemen. Daniel is shown looking towards Merritt, but when Allen says "or not" in the next shot, Daniel is suddenly looking at Allen. Audio problem: When the Horsemen are at the science centre and are posing as doctors attempting to trick Allen, Lula says she did sent that e-mail and Daniel says "The other day, yes", but Daniel's lips do not move with the line. (00:55:10)

Continuity mistake: When the security guard at the OCTA launch finds the Evans Mental Facility wristband on the CCTV guard's wrist, the wristband and wrist are pointed away from the CCTV guard's face, but in the next shot, the wristband and wrist is directly facing the CCTV guard. (00:18:10)

Question: I thought that the chip they stole was fake? Why did Walter think it is real? Hypnosis?

Answer: Walter thought the chip was real because he placed it under a scanner and the scanner confirmed that the chip was real. However, given the fact that later on it was revealed that the whole plane sequence was a set up, it is probable that the device used to scan the chip was actually a fake that was used to make Walter believe the chip was real, most likely throw him off guard.

Answer: It is revealed later on that Allen Scott-Frank, the man from the Macau Science Center, where they stole the fake chip from, was working with The Eye. He likely anticipated their arrival due to being in contact with The Eye and planted a fake chip into the system, allowing the Horsemen to steal it. This fake chip was likely designed to trick a scanner into thinking it was real.
