The American picture

Corrected entry: Never heard of bullet-speeds being expressed in mph, usually in meters per second or feet per second. Anyhow, 360 mph is still well above the sound barrier, so any suppressor or silencer will NOT silence the sharp whip-like crack of a bullet going through the sound barrier.

Correction: 360 mph is about half the speed of sound.

Correction: The optical mouse was invented in 1970, and was in use during the 1980s. They weren't very common for household use, but laboratories and educational institutes used them quite a bit by the mid 90s.

Let Me In picture

Corrected entry: When Abby and Owen talk outside, there is no exhalation steam out of their mouths, which obviously would appear in cold winter.

Billcow

Correction: Breath isn't always seen when it is cold out, it's more an indication of humidity. Just because there is snow on the ground does it mean it is very cold out, and just because there isn't snow on the ground does it mean it's warm. In New Mexico, where the story takes place, it is not humid much of the time. Therefore, there may not be much breath vapor. I work at a place where the last few days it has been extremely cold outside, with and there is little breath vapor. Inside the plant it is warmer, but more humid, and breath is visible.

Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam picture

Corrected entry: In the scene where Connect 3 arrive at the camp and introduce themselves, Joe Jonas' character Shane says, "I'm Shane and this is Jason and Nick", using his younger brother's actual name rather than calling him "Nate", the name of the character.

TamsFan

Correction: I've watched this scene over and over and he actually does say "Nate".

The Losers picture

Corrected entry: In the final scene where they step outside the van, Cley says, "Cougar, you take point! However, Cougar had already defected and was not with the team.Except that Cougar is no longer with the team in this scene.

Correction: Roque is the teammate that defected. Cougar is very much in the van with them.

The Runaways picture

Corrected entry: While in Japan, they drive on the right side of the road instead of the left as they do in Japan.

Correction: The only shots of them driving are either at the airport or hotels, or through a tunnel, in an imported Cadillac limousine. Since it is imported, the driver sits on the left. The airport, parking areas, and tunnel could easily be one way lanes.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader picture

Corrected entry: When there is a shot of the characters' shadows on the shore before Aslan's Country, and the camera moves back towards Aslan's shadow, Aslan's actual body is not there, his paws are not touching his shadow, there is no Aslan, just the shadow. And then in the next shot, he is there.

Moviemadman

Correction: That's not a movie mistake, it's an example of Aslan's power. He's materializing out of nothing. We see his shadow first, and then he appears. That's why there was a shot specifically of the characters, pan to their shadows, pan to Aslan's shadow, and BIG REVEAL: no Aslan.

Vanishing on 7th Street picture

Corrected entry: The generator in the basement works on petrol but they are almost out of it. However the streets are filled with cars with petrol in them, all they have to do is pump it out of the tanks. They could have power (and thus light) for months with that generator and so take a lot more time figuring out what to do next.

lionhead

Correction: The generator was never dying due to the lack of petrol, the reason was because the electric charge was fading. This is confirmed in the scene where Paul takes a look inside it to identify the problem. After Rosemary points out that there actually is plenty of petrol (showing her with a bunch of cans with petrol on a shelf), Paul says that it doesn't matter, as the electric charge is fading anyway.

Yohan - Barnevandrer picture

Corrected entry: When Johannes comes home and sees his wife and family again there is no mentioning of the baby that his wife lost while he was away. He hasn't been in contact with them since he left when she was heavily pregnant. Surely the new baby (which he doesn't know is dead) would be the first thing on his mind when he came back?

littlestar

Correction: Just because characters act a different way than you would, or want them to, doesn't make it a mistake. And it's possible they had discussions off camera.

Black Swan picture

Corrected entry: At around 56 minutes in, the doorbell rings and Nina's mom goes in front of a mirror, you can see a crew member pass in the mirror.

Correction: This is NOT a mistake. The reflection in the mirror is of the mother, who has just walked past.

The Wolfman picture

Corrected entry: The film is set in 1891 and depicts a scene where the wolfman attacks a bus full of passengers, yet the earliest motorised buses were not introduced to London until 1902.

Correction: The bus seen in the film is steam powered, which were in use since the 1830's.

Animals United picture

Corrected entry: This film is based around meerkats as the main characters, out trying to find water for the family. Meerkats do not drink: they get all the water they need from their food (e.g. mealworms).

Correction: Meerkats do drink water. They can go without water by getting it from food sources, if they have enough, but they do drink water as well.

Centurion picture

Corrected entry: All of the movie takes part in present day Scotland, however the 9th Legion was destroyed at Camulodunum, present day Colchester in Essex, north east of London, several hundred miles to the south.

Correction: The fate of the Ninth Legion is a matter of some debate. The last concrete information on its whereabouts places the Legion at Eboracorum, present day York, in approximately 108 AD. Subsequent evidence is, at best, circumstantial. That the Legion was lost in combat in a disastrous attempt to pacify Scotland is a not-uncommon belief, as can be seen by the sheer number of literary and cinematic works revolving around those supposed events, however most theories now suggest that the Legion survived its British posting, albeit with substantial losses, was posted at least briefly in the Netherlands and was finally destroyed during a conflict somewhere in the East.
