Law Abiding Citizen picture

Corrected entry: When Nick and Clyde are talking outside the prison fence, Clyde's mouth is bleeding after Nick hit him. In the next clip there is no trace of blood. Even if he has tried to wipe his mouth with his hand (which we don't see) there would be some blood visible.

Jacob La Cour

Correction: He doesn't wipe his mouth, but he does spit out the blood, and he kind of moves his tongue around his mouth before he spits which would have removed most of the blood from his mouth. There probably should have been some blood left in his mouth, though, it would have been hard to get it all with the movement he does.

Paul Blart: Mall Cop picture

Corrected entry: When Paul knocks the bad guy over in the sporting goods store, he falls flat on his back. The crash mat is visible right where he lands and is a different color to the surrounding tiles.

manthabeat Premium member

Correction: In the prior scene before the bad guy is tripped with a hockey stick, when Paul is in front of store and decides to go in, you can see that the red mat is actually a carpet runner on the floor in front of the hockey gear (New Jersey Devils) Paul winds up in. It's also the same color and theme of the sports gear displayed and hockey uniform Paul is wearing.

Sherlock Holmes picture

Corrected entry: When Holmes, Watson and Mary are having dinner, she throws red wine in Holmes' face and it runs down all over him. He is wearing a white collar, yet when the camer pans back to him, there isn't a spot on him nor the fresh white collar.

Correction: There is wine all over his face and his hand prevents us from seeing that there is on his collar too.

Fast & Furious picture

Corrected entry: The Dodge Charger R/T explodes inside the tunnels with Letty's cross. But at the end, Bryan is driving it to rescue Toretto. The car is in pristine condition and even has Letty's cross in the rear view mirror.

Correction: The car is also wrecked at the end of The Fast and the Furious. There is nothing to say they couldn't have restored it as we don't know how long after the explosion it is that Dom is being driven to the prison. We see him reach for something before getting out of the car - most likely the cross.

How did they even get the charger back after the end of the fast and furious. I assume the police would take it as evidence.

Public Enemies picture

Corrected entry: When John Dillinger escapes from jail by stealing a police car, the car slowly stops at a traffic light and we can see officers to the left of John (and the car). In the overhead shot of the car and the traffic light, the officers have disappeared from the sidewalk, but in the following shot the officers are still there.

Correction: Dillinger stole sheriff Holley's Ford. At the stoplight, there is a marked police cruiser with two cops inside shown stopped at the same light but opposite Dillinger. It's not a continuity issue.

The International picture

Corrected entry: When the one-legged sniper arrives in New York, he is picked up by surveillance cameras, and the pictures from there are used to track him down. But every person arriving in the US is photographed at customs, so there would be a clear portrait of him on file - and no need to use the blurry surveillance picture.

Jacob La Cour

Correction: Except that it is easy to "fool" facial recognition software by using a disguise. The surveillance photo, even if blurry, would be the most up to date photo they have.

Hannah Montana: The Movie picture

Corrected entry: The British reporter never presses send on his cellphone to tell the company that he quits. He just picks up the cellphone and talks.

Correction: As the reporter is running behind the stage he is dialing the number and right before Robby and Hannah's "manager" get him he talks to the company. He simply put them on hold while he is talking to his daughters, and the "manager" then proceeds to tell them he is quitting, after the girls stop screaming from seeing Hannah.

The Proposal picture

Corrected entry: During the airport scene, when Andrew is talking to his friend on his cell phone, asking him to stop the plane with Margaret from taking off, he looks up at his friend in the tower who says, "There was nothing I could do," but his lips aren't moving - he's merely smiling apologetically.

Correction: The shot of his friend is out of focus but you can see his gestures, which to me are perfect with the voiceover.

Zombieland picture

Corrected entry: When Witchita and Little Rock are on the "Swinging Ship" ride at Pacific Playland, how exactly did they start the ride once they were on it? Even if they rigged it, how in the world did they stop it to get off? These types of rides require an operator at the controls to start and stop the ride.

wizard_of_gore

Correction: It is a timed ride that stops on its own after a set amount of time, an operator is not required to stop it. As for starting it, the Swinging Ship ride takes a while to build up momentum. Little Rock is much smaller than her sister, she could easily press the start button, then hop on the ride and slide under the restraining bar.

Up in the Air picture

Corrected entry: When Anna Kendrick is singing Karaoke she sings "almost left behind" which are the words to the song. However, the Karaoke screen says "almost left me blind." (00:57:00)

Correction: Several different companies make karaoke discs, and they all vary in quality from production of sound to lyrical accuracy. This is simply a disc with a spelling error on it (more than likely being played in real life as this scene was shot) and is not a movie mistake.

The Descent: Part 2 picture

Corrected entry: In the beginning of the film, the rescue people say the girls have been missing for 2 days. Although, when Cath and Greg come across Sam's lifeless body hanging from the ceiling, she looks as though she's already started to decompose. It doesn't seem like just two days after she died, she'd begin to decompose. Especially since when they found Rebecca's body, the skin was still in tact and hadn't started decomposing at all. (00:55:20)

Zenaaaah

Correction: There are a LOT of factors which determine rate of decomposition. Both in terms of speeding the process up and in slowing it down.

Angels & Demons picture

Corrected entry: About 20 minutes into the movie Professor Langdon talks about the set of 5 brands used by the Illuminati, from which the first 4 represents the elements (earth, air, fire, water). When in the end reaching the Castle St. Angelo as the Church Of Illumination and discovering the set of brands in person he is surprised to discover there's a fifth brand.

Correction: Langdon is not surprised that there is a fifth brand. He is surprised that the fifth brand is the crossed keys instead of the word "Illuminati."

The Princess and the Frog picture

Corrected entry: Charlotte kisses Naveen to turn him and Tiana back into humans. It doesn't work because since it's after midnight, her father no longer holds the ceremonial title of Mardi Gras King and therefore she's no longer considered a princess. Shouldn't she have turned into a frog, as Tiana did?

Correction: Charlotte is not turned into a frog because Tiana broke the talisman that Dr. Facilers' "friends" on the the other side were working through for him. Once it was was broken, no new magic took place under Naveen's spell.

Inglourious Basterds picture

Corrected entry: The outer layer of human skin is bonded to the subcutaneous layers beneath. When Raine is cutting the swastika into Landa's forehead at the end of the movie, the extreme close-ups reveal that the "skin" is a thin layer of rubber attached to a blood pack - you can see the edges peel up as he is making the incisions.

BocaDavie Premium member

Correction: This is true for most skin, except the areas of the scalp and forehead - because of the unique nature of this skin, there often is more mobility and separation between these layers than in other areas of the body. I have watched these scenes again, and, as someone who has made incisions in these areas, I have to say this looks very realistic.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra picture

Corrected entry: At the end of the Hummer chase through Paris the Hummer gets hit by a train on its right side, hitting the front right bumper. However when the Hummer finally lands, it is the front left bumper that has the impact damage, while the front right bumper is barely touched.

Nik Rolls

Correction: The train hits the right REAR bumper of the Hummer. The damage to the front of the Hummer is from the bus crash at the beginning of the chase.

Halloween 2 picture

Corrected entry: When Laurie is reading Loomis' book in her car and starts throwing it around it is a paperback. The book was just released that day. Major book releases (as this one is greatly alluded to in the film as being such) would not have a paperback edition until months later.

Correction: She is not actually reading a paperback book it is the book cover that falls off.

Moon picture

Corrected entry: In the scenes where the vehicle is rolling on the moon surface, you can see the dust trail behind the vehicle's wheels. However, on the moon, in the absence of atmosphere, the dust should actually fall straight on the ground, immediately. This computer generated effect was added to make it look real, but it makes it physically inaccurate.

gaelito

Correction: The gravity on the moon is 1/6th of that on earth so objects (including dust) fall back to the furface of the moon slower than on earth. The fact that there is no atmosphere would not make ojects fall instantly back down. Check out Nasa video of real moon rovers in action. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_YhYBxjpQU.

Particle don't fall back slower, but with a constant g/6 acceleration pointing down, which doesn't appear in the movie. In fact, the total time spent in a parabola that extends L=2m above ground due to an acceleration g is 2 times square root of 2L/g, which is 3.3s in moon's gravity. So the dust trail should disappear completely at the spot the rover was 3.3s before.

The Ugly Truth picture

Corrected entry: The characters discuss going to San Francisco. When they arrive, it is a shot of the L.A. skyline. The characters discuss being in San Francisco. Later, when back home in Sacramento, they refer to their trip to L.A.

Correction: They are talking about the guy taking a Job in San Fran but first going on the late late show as a way a test. The late show is in LA.

Confessions of a Shopaholic picture

Corrected entry: When Rebecca and Suze are calculating their total bills, Suze says that Rebecca owes 'Sixteen Thousand Twelve Hundred and Sixty-Two Dollars and Seventy cents". There is no such thing as Sixteen Thousand Twelve Hundred. It should be Seventeen Thousand Two Hundred.

Correction: Rebecca and Suze downed tequila the entire time they were calculating the bills. I think her mistake was most likely accentuating that fact.

Saw VI picture

Corrected entry: At the beginning of the film, Hoffman retracts the walls of the room where Agent Strahm has been squashed. The whole body drops to the floor. However, Strahm's hand remains untouched. Now considering the walls shut completely, his hand would have not survived if they were powerful enough to crush his body.

Correction: The hand was holding onto the grating above the chamber, where there was room at the very top between the grating and the closed walls.
