Jigsaw: Hello, William. Before you are six of your most valuable associates. The ones who find errors in policies. Their findings result in over two-thirds of all applications denied or prematurely terminated. Healthcare decisions should be made by doctors and their patients, not the insurance company. Six ride the carousel, but only two can get off. The decision of which two survive falls upon you. To offer the two reprise, you'll offer a sacrifice of your own. Two can live, four will die.
Trivia
Tanedra Howard, who won Scream Queens and got a role in a Saw movie, is featured in the opening trap as Simone. See more...
Continuity: When Simone has a go at Hoffman in the hospital, someone puts their hand on her shoulder. Camera cuts and the hand has gone.
Continuity: In the opening game, Simone's arm alternates from wet to dry depending on the shot.
Other: In the opening "game" of the film, Simone is forced to remove flesh to stay alive. We then see her sever an arm with a few blows from a hatchet in order to win the game. The arm is removed about 3 inches below the elbow but a later scene in the hospital shows a bandage with the arm completely gone from far above the elbow. Furthermore, modern advances in limb re-attachment allow for a limb to be re-attached up to a full day after the accident. Why didn't the doctors in the OR simply re-attach the arm that had been lobbed off?
Continuity: During the noose trap, William looks down the monitor's with Alan's pictures. We see a picture of Alan sitting in front of a fence, then William turns to look at Addy's monitor. In the next shot, William turns his head again to look at Addy's monitor.
