Continuity: The chase scene (which doesn't last 5 hours) starts when midday prayers are called, but by the end of it you can see the sun is on the horizon.

Louis Salinger: Sometimes you find your destiny on the road you took to avoid it.
Continuity: In the very beginning, when Owen's friend is talking to the man in the black Audi, the parked car's steering wheel changes position.
Factual error: When the one-legged sniper arrives in New York, he is picked up by surveillance cameras, and the pictures from there are used to track him down. But every person arriving in the US is photographed at customs, so there would be a clear portrait of him on file – and no need to use the blurry surveillance picture.
Plot hole: It is extremely unlikely that all those men with machine guns would be able to get into the Guggenheim – not that I've been there, but I'm pretty sure there are metal detectors and that they do not let guys with guns into the museum.
Factual error: Even if the bullets were full metal jackets, the passing through Calvina's head and then the wooden column would deform them so the exit hole would be larger than the entry hole.
Continuity: When Skaressen's meeting at the mosque started, we heard prayer calls from the mosque in the background. Right before Sallinger shoots Skarssen, we hear prayer calls again. They do not come that often.
Continuity: When we see Calvina get shot the second time, the bullet holes in the column behind him do not match the bullet holes when Sallinger examines them.
Factual error: There is not such a large souq (Arabic market area) in close walking distance to the Blue Mosque of Istanbul.
Continuity: During the shoot-out at the Guggenheim, each of the assailants is using so many bullets that they would have needed huge bags to carry all the magazines.
Continuity: When we see Calvina get shot, the bullet holes in the column are almost right behind his head, at head height above the floor. But when Sallinger examines the bullet holes in the column, they are just above the floor.
Factual error: If the two snipers were placed in the same building right on top of each other, and as far away from the target as we see, the difference in the angle of the two bullet trajectories would be very small. The difference shown by the plastic sticks would – at that long distance – mean a huge difference in height.
Continuity: In the beginning of the movie, a man gets out of a car and walks toward a street while talking on a phone; he then starts to grab his upper left arm while vomiting. Before he falls to the ground, notice that there is a very noticeable amount of vomit on his chin. In the next shot his chin is almost spotless.
Other: During the shootout in the gallery, Clive Owen shoots the revolver 12 times.
