Clear - S3-E12

Continuity mistake: When Rick, Michonne, and Carl go out on a run, in the first shot, Rick starts to roll the window down so he can shoot a walker. The next shot the window is up, and he rolls it down again. (00:02:00)

Rock in the Road - S7-E9

Continuity mistake: When they get back to the community after stealing all explosives from the road, the Saviors show up and search for Daryl. When they do, that's when they show a one-second clip of the guy Dwight killed a few episodes back, the guy who said there was nothing to go back to. The guy is then shown to be a walker in the defense yard of the Saviors. So, how is he shutting the van doors of a vehicle in this episode? (00:43:12)

The Well - S7-E2

Continuity mistake: When Morgan and Carol leave The Kingdom on horseback to take Carol to her "gone, not gone" house, Morgan is riding on Carol's right. When they are shown arriving, and Morgan dismounts, his horse is slightly in front of Carol's and to her left. Morgan throws down his staff and slings his reins over the picket fence. Then, he returns to help the still recovering Carol from her horse, and we see Morgan's horse is back standing neatly next to Carol's on her right. (00:42:13 - 00:42:52)

The Day Will Come When You Won't Be - S7-E1

Other mistake: When Rick is on top of the RV, Negan peppers the roof with bullets from the inside, so that Rick has to run and jump onto the hanging walker. Negan's using a machine gun, so a lot of bullets, and the exit holes that are made, are visible on the roof. The softer material of the inside ceiling would have been really torn up, but when Rick gets back into the RV with Negan's axe, the ceiling is undamaged. (00:21:38 - 00:24:36)

The Distance - S5-E11

Continuity mistake: Arriving at Alexandria, Rick is shown from an interior POV leaning into the back of the car and picking up Judith, who is mostly wrapped in a spotty shawl. As he is shown doing this from an exterior POV, the shawl is barely visible, bunched up behind her legs. (00:41:44)

30 Days Without an Accident - S4-E1

Continuity mistake: After Michonne gives Rick the shaver, he has his gloves in his right hand and the shaver in the left. As he walks up to the prison, he throws the shaver away on the ground. He continues up to where Carl is brushing the horse, still with his gloves in his right hand and left hand empty. He remains like this whilst talking to Carl, but as he pats the horse, then walks away, he has the shaver in his right hand and the gloves in his back right pocket. (00:11:44 - 00:12:14)

Claimed - S4-E11

Continuity mistake: When Carl and Michonne are eating breakfast, and she is rolling up the sleeves to her new white shirt, it is untied. When the scene cuts to her sitting down the shirt is tied at the back. (00:03:20)

TS-19 - S1-E6

Factual error: At CDC headquarters, Dr. Jenner shows Rick and the group an MRI of an infected patient's brain activity as they die and subsequently resurrect. The patient is shot at point-blank range as the barrel of the gun can be seen in the MRI. This is impossible. MRI machines are highly magnetic and the gun would have been ripped from Dr. Jenner's hands with such force that not only would he not have been able to shoot, the MRI machine would have been destroyed.

After - S4-E9

Continuity mistake: The message in chalk Carl writes on the door changes from what we see him do. For example, he writes something on the middle part of the door (which doesn't look like the word "shoe") and then doesn't write on the inset part of the door below that. When we see the message, the inset part now has some writing on it.

The Distance - S5-E11

Visible crew/equipment: After Aaron refuses to provide his group's location, Rick tells everyone to eat and get some rest. When Michonne follows Rick outside it cuts to the car, and just as the camera pans to the right the actor's green nylon T-marker is visible on the ground, under the car door. (00:20:40)

Hostiles and Calamities - S7-E11

Revealing mistake: When Frankie and Tanya visit Eugene while he's playing the video game, he refuses to give them the pills he made. They call him a coward then leave, and in the next closeup of Eugene's video game screen we can see his reflection, but the problem is his reflection is not backwards as it should be (note his shirt buttons, etc). Suggested correction: I can see where the confusion is. If you watch it normal time, it looks like he stabs him in the cheekbone. But in slow motion, you can see the blade go into the top of the skull.

Find Me - S10-E18

Continuity mistake: Daryl and Carol are walking to an abandoned home. Carol walks by a bush with bright sunlight coming from the left of the shot. The angle changes and it's overcast with no sun. Then we see Daryl again and it's once again sunny.

Sick - S3-E2

Continuity mistake: Towards the end after Lori tells Rick that he acted fast and if not for what he did... Rick looks upwards after this. When the camera cuts to the other angle, he has his head tilted down. (00:41:26)

Pretty Much Dead Already - S2-E7

Continuity mistake: After talking with Hershel, Rick heads out to the barn and meets up with Shane at a tractor. Shane asks him which way is it going to go as Rick is looking to his left down at the tractor. When the shot cuts to The Other Side as Rick responds, he's suddenly looking straight ahead at the barn. (00:15:32)

Pretty Much Dead Already - S2-E7

Continuity mistake: Rick is talking with Hershel in his kitchen and asks him to please not send Them out into the world again. Hershel is looking down at his sink from the side angle. When it cuts to a view from behind, he's suddenly looking up to the left out of the window, only to lower his head back down towards the sink again. (00:13:57)

I Ain't a Judas - S3-E11

Carol: haven't had a chance to say, I'm glad you came back.
Daryl: To what? All this?
Carol: This is our home.
Daryl: This is a tomb.
Carol: That's what T-Dog called it, thought he was right, until you found me. He's your brother, but he's not good for you. Don't let him bring you down. After all look how far you've come.

Rogue Element - S11-E11

Trivia: Eugene is looking for his missing girlfriend, "Stephanie." Princess visits him. He shows her his pinboard with strings attaching clues. He's found out plumber Roman Calhoun, was the last person to see her and tracks him down to a dodgy outfit at "1634 Racine." This is the home address in "The Untouchables" (1987 film about the capture and imprisonment of Al Capone, starring Kevin Costner & Andy Garcia), of Jimmy the good Irish cop, played by Sean Connery. Show generally

Question: Has there been any explanation (in-show or by show creators) about the inconsistency of what attracts Walkers? They've shown that people who cover themselves in Walker guts aren't detected or attacked. When it rained, the rain washed off the guts and then the Walkers do try to attack. But if people hide under cars or don't make noises, the Walkers don't detect them. But it's also been shown that people under a pile of "dead" walkers are still attacked. So what causes a Walker to attack?

Bishop73

Answer: Walkers are attracted to noise, they can tell who's dead and who isn't dead, in S1 when Rick and Glenn cover themselves in walkers' guts they're able to get far by walking through the herd of walkers because they smell like they're dead, but as soon as the guts get washed off by the rain the walkers immediately attack them, if you draw attention to yourself they will attack you which we've seen that many times throughout the series that it's not always successful. Whether you're covered in guts hiding under dead corpses or under a car.

Answer: Walkers use sight and sound to find their prey, with sound being their first choice. When the characters cover themselves in guts, they aren't attacking because they can't "see" them and they're not making any noise. The same goes for when they're hiding under cars - walkers can't hear or see them. They'll go for anything that makes a noise, regardless of what it is. It's also very likely that walkers don't have the ability to smell, since they can't find people hiding under cars. Nor can they smell the Whispers who walk amongst them.
