Series 2 Episode 3, "The Mousetrap": George Lazlo's appearance in "Beast Wizard 7" (which John and Kacy watch clips of on TV) is an obvious parody of Conan the Barbarian, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, who also played the Terminator in the original films. See more...

Season: Whole show  1  All

Across whole show

Mistake Continuity: Ep. "Samson and Delilah" - All shots of the Jeep Cherokee prior to it crashing (and during the process of flipping over) show that it wears factory-optional silver steel wheels of a 'star' style. But as the wreck settles upside-down, it's wearing plain steel wheels (like those found under full wheel covers or on a spare tire).

Mistake Continuity: Season 2, Episode 20: "To the Lighthouse". Derek orders Cameron to work on the flat tire of their truck. Cameron quickly turns her head away from Derek to the truck. In the far shot, Cameron turns her head to the truck again.

Mistake Continuity: Ep. "Samson and Delilah" - When the Jeep Cherokee flips, it lands on the driver-side/rear corner of its roof, completely collapsing that corner of the roof. The camera angle changes and instantly the Jeep is landing on both of its driver-side tires, roof intact, and rolls onto its left side. The angle changes again, and the collapsed roof is back as the Jeep slides a bit more before the shot changes again, and the undamaged roof is shown as the Jeep rolls onto its roof and comes to a stop. The camera pans around the rear of the wreck, and there is no roof collapse at either rear corner.

Mistake Continuity: Ep. "Samson and Delilah" - As Derek sits at the table, Sarah is digging jelly from a jar with a knife, moving it onto toast that sits on a plate on the table. The shot instantly reverses and the jar is on the table and she's spreading the jelly with the knife on the toast she now holds in her hand.

Mistake Continuity: Ep. "Samson and Delilah" - Sarah carries a plate with a sandwich and a tall glass of milk for John. After talking with Cameron for a few moments, she heads to John's room, arriving with the plate and sandwich, but no glass of milk, and with some of his clean clothing.

Mistake Continuity: Season 2, episode 21, "Adam Raised a Cain." While in the garage of Ms. Weaver's house, a terminator, out to get Savannah, takes four bullets from Sarah in the back. Later as you see the terminator go after John and Savannah, you can see his back as he is coming up some stairs, and the terminator now has five bullets holes in its back.

Mistake Revealing: "Season 2, Episode 20: To the Lighthouse." When Cameron is firing back at the man on the passenger side of the van coming at her, the man drops the gun in his lap when Cameron shoots him. The very next shot shows the gun tumbling around on the road on the opposite side of where he was shooting.

Mistake Continuity: EP "Goodbye to All That": On the firing range when John Connor fixes the stoppage on the rifle, his shooting glasses are on his head, when he hands the rifle back, the glasses are now over his eyes, and in the next shot they are on his head again. Not enough time has occurred between shots for this to happen.

Mistake Revealing: Ep. "Samson and Delilah" - As Cameron flips over the Jeep Cherokee, the smoke coming from the bottom of it is from the cannon used to flip it, the cannon in later shots then disappears, more notably when the camera goes above the Jeep with Sarah crawling out.

Mistake Plot hole: Ep. "Samson and Delilah" - When John inserts Cameron's CPU, she restarts nearly instantly. She recognizes John right away and speaks to him by name. Yet seconds later, we see through her eyes as her system reports recognizing him, but she already does.

Mistake Continuity: Ep. "Samson and Delilah" - When Elison is sitting at the rear doorway of the ambulance, in close-up his hands are away from his face, out of shot. But the instant the shot changes to show him from further away, his right hand is covering his mouth.

Mistake Other: "Season 2, Episode 5 "Goodbye to All That" When Sarah puts Marty on the bus on his way home he steps onto the first step and turns to face Sarah as the door closes and the bus departs. It is against the law in California for buses to begin moving until passengers are on the main deck of the bus (one step up from the boy). This law was enacted after a child fell from the entry step of the bus (exactly where Marty stood), the doors opened and they were run over by the bus. California operates a zero tolerance policy on this matter; drivers know that a single infraction will result in the loss of their commercial drivers license and is taken very seriously by all drivers, without a single infraction having been reported in years.

Mistake Revealing: When Connor and Cameron are trying to save Derek Reese from the police truck, Cameron walks on the Jeep's hood to jump onto the police truck. During her walk, we can see that it isn't Cameron but a stunt double. She doesn't look like Cameron and is a bit taller.

Pilot (season 1, episode 1)

Mistake Continuity: As the FBI agent shows his ID to Dixon, it is in his right hand, the badge end up. He holds a folder in his left hand. The camera cuts away for just a moment, then returns to show the ID in his left hand, badge to the right, and the folder is in his right hand, all without enough time to make the switches.

Mistake Continuity: At the beginning of the episode when Sarah is put in the police car, she falls onto her side. In the next shot, she's sitting up straight, with no time to move.

Mistake Continuity: When Cameron protects John from Cromartie in the classroom, she is shot several times, but remains standing. In the following shot, she is suddenly lying on top of John to protect him, without ever having fallen.

Mistake Continuity: As Cromartie is approaching the Dyson home, he carries an automatic rifle with his right arm. As he makes a turn toward the left, he lowers the rifle down to his side, pointing it at the ground. He hears a car start and an instant camera angle change shows the rifle is still pointed forward and upward, not down, with no time for the change.

Queen's Gambit (season 1, episode 5)

Mistake Continuity: As Cameron is questioned about the girl that commited suicide, the interviewer holds a photo of one of the mostly-black posters. When we see his view of the photo, the white letters spell 'DAN', but before and after that shot, when we see his face, we can see through the photo, and it only reads 'A', which is a different poster seen earlier in the same episode.

Mistake Character mistake: When Dixon arrives to find Derek lying on the table with a serious gunshot wound to the chest, he immediately begins giving Derek chest compressions - without doing even the most basic assessment of Deker's condition, verifying whether he is breathing or even has a pulse. Dixon is a trained Emergency Medical Technician, not a passing samaritan. His error is against the most basic rules of his profession.

Vick's Chip (1) (season 1, episode 8)

Mistake Continuity: As the scene begins, we are looking through Cameron's eyes as she holds up a photo of a night cityscape framed by plants. She lowers the photo to reveal she is standing in the exact spot that the picture was taken. In both the photo and her view, the plants that frame the distant city are very well lit. But the shot changes to show Cameron turning to face camera and we see the plants are now in near-total darkness beyond her.
