Entry The name "Cameron" is chosen as a tribute to director James Cameron who directed the first two films.
Entry Series 2 Episode 1, "Samson and Delilah": The actress who plays Catherine Weaver, Shirley Manson, is actually a professional singer and sang the song "Samson and Delilah" featured in the start of the episode.
Entry Series 2 Ep. 05, "Goodbye to All That": Patrick Kilpatrick (who plays the Bedell Terminator) has previously played a human-like cyborg in the sci-fi comedy Class of 1999. He played a "Tactical Education Unit" which was programmed to teach and was outfitted with weapons to handle discipline problems.
Entry Series 2 Episode 3, "The Mousetrap": George Lazlo's appearance in "Beast Wizard 7" (which John and Kacy watch clips of on TV) is an obvious parody of Conan the Barbarian, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, who also played the Terminator in the original films.

The Demon Hand (series 1)

Entry To track the Turk, Cameron enrolls in a ballet class taught by the sister of a suspect. Summer Glau is actually a classically trained ballerina.

Queen's Gambit (series 1)

Entry Cameron meets a prototype robot that smiles and waves at her in in the exhibition outside the chess tournament. Briefly visible on its control screen, alongside basic commands, is the word "BladeRunner", a reference to the classic sci-fi film which also features a dystopian future populated by humanoid robots.
