Continuity: Rory asks Emily for baby pictures of Lorelai, but Emily says Lorelai burned them all because she had such a big head when she was little. But in "Love and War and Snow" Emily, Richard and Rory looked at baby pictures of Lorelai together.

Continuity: When Lorelai calls Chris to tell him about Rory's debut, she writes his new number on a gum wrapper. The shot changes to Rory. When it cuts to Lorelai again, she is reading the number from a notebook.

Continuity: When Sherry and Lorelai have their awkward talk in the kitchen, Lorelai is reaching to bring out glasses for apple juice. She places one on the counter and reaches for a second, in the next shot as she is setting down the glass she has just retrieved a second glass has already appeared on the counter.

Continuity: When Lorelai sits down with Dean to discuss how "clingy" he is with Rory, both Lorelai and Dean's hand positions change between shots, specifically whether their fingers are laced, resting normally on the table or raised in the air.

Visible crew/equipment: During the Friday night dinner, something that looks like a microphone swings back and forth next to Richard's arm. It comes back in almost every shot of him.

Continuity: In the scene where Luke and Jess are on the lake discussing in the end, when the camera is on Luke they are in the sun and when it is on Jess they are in the shadow.

Plot hole: In episode 416, "The Reigning Lorelai" when Emily is dialing a number for Manny Martelli, to make arrangements for the funeral, she only dials two digits. She just got the number from someone else, so there's no way it was speed-dial.

Continuity: In the episode The Fundamental Things Apply, Lorelai is in Luke's Diner talking to Luke. Lorelai is wearing a red sweater vest over a white shirt. Everytime the camera goes back to her, the left side of her collar goes from being tucked in under the vest (as if the vest were hastily put on), to being untucked (as it should be) quite a few times.

Continuity: When Rory comes into the room to answer the phone and sees Paris avoiding the call because it's her boyfriend Jamie, she empties the contents of her school bag onto the desk, including her mobile phone. Then later in the scene when Rory suggests Paris use her mobile phone to call Jamie, she pulls it out of her bag again, despite having left it on the table all but half a minute earlier.

Continuity: In "An Affair to Remember", Lorelai and Sookie take some containers out of the car and head towards Emily and Richard's door. When you see the next shot of them at the door, the containers Sookie is carrying are different from the ones she took out of the car, without her rearranging them.

Continuity: In the scene where Rory is talking to Lane on her cell phone, she sits down on a bench. On that bench is a guy reading a book. The scene shifts to Lane in Stars Hollow, and when it shifts back to Rory at Yale, the guy on the bench is gone. (Time)
