Other mistake: Peter is in the hospital and Lois is there talking to him. There are 2 IV bags and a heart monitor next to his bed. The monitor shows his heart beating normally yet there aren't any wires hooked up to him.

Continuity mistake: When Brian enters the farm house, Meg is on the floor unconscious on her back with her face up, but the next shot when the rest of the Griffins enter, Meg's head is turned to her left.
Answer: Mort is Jewish, and Walt Disney was said to be antisemitic. So it would make sense in a Disney universe all the inhabitants would share his supposed beliefs.
