Clayman does not have special abilities, and monsters without abilities are shaded yellow, and monsters with abilities are shaded yellow. Continuity mistake: When Jaden draws the Fusion Gate card, in the close-up shot of the card, it is facing toward him. In the next shot, the card is facing away from him and is also held differently (so that Jaden can place it on the duel disk). (00:14:00)
Other mistake: When the Elemental Hero Sparkman card is shown in Jaden's hand, the card is shaded orange. Monsters that have no special abilities (which Sparkman does not) are shaded yellow, whereas monsters that do have abilities are shaded orange, so there is no reason for the Sparkman card to be shaded orange here. Revealing mistake: When Alexis places her Blade Skater card on her duel disk, there is a brief frame where the cards on her duel disk pass above her hand. (00:13:09)
Deliberate mistake: There is a shot of Alexis getting blasted with electricity when Etoile Cyber is attacked by Sparkman. This same shot is reused later in the episode when she attacked directly by Elemental Hero Thunder Giant, as the electricity and Alexis' position in the shot is the same. (00:12:20 - 00:18:36)
Continuity mistake: On Jaden's first turn, he draws a card from his deck. He has two fingers pressed against the back, but when the shot cuts, he now has the side of one finger placed against the card. (00:11:57)
Continuity mistake: After Alexis summons Etoile Cyber to the field, she has her right hand at her side. When the shot cuts to a closer shot of her, her right hand and forearm are rotated to the left so that she can place a card face down. (00:11:48)
