Continuity mistake: In the beginning, Jeff and his friend are having an argument about movies. As Jeff says "Yeah, so what", he is staring ahead, even turning his head slightly away from his friend. When the camera cuts to a wider angle, he is looking directly at his friend. (00:02:35)

Trivia: Jeff drives an Oldsmobile similar to the one owned by Sam Raimi, which Bruce Campbell drove in "Evil Dead" and "Army of Darkness". When Bruce is locked in the trunk, he even finds a Fangoria magazine, which was also shown to be in the trunk in "Army of Darkness".

Continuity mistake: When Jeff and the dark-haired kid are talking in the car, the little disco ball hanging from the rear-view mirror varies between swinging very gently and swinging with large, rapid movements, without anyone touching it. This is especially noticeable in close-ups, when Jeff is shown, the ball is moving violently, when the camera is on his friend the ball is barely moving. (00:01:50)

Trivia: The large guy who says the town should have rather kidnapped the blacksmith from "Army of Darkness", is played by Timothy Patrick Quill, who also played the blacksmith in question.
