I Love Lucy (1951)

The Dancing Star - S4-E28

Other mistake: Lucy walks out on the balcony and sees Van Johnson sleeping on a lounge chair by the swimming pool. The photographic backdrop shows automobiles, trees, mountains, the Roosevelt hotel and many other buildings of Hollywood but when Lucy goes to the pool and sits on the lounge chair next to Van Johnson, the background is just a plain painted backdrop with no cars, trees, mountains or buildings. This plain backdrop also appears in the episode with Harpo Marx.

Other mistake: Over a car radio, KHJ's Robert W. Morgan is heard giving the weather forecast. The predicted high is "95 downtown, 105 in the valley." The scene takes place in the middle of winter, February 9, 1969.

Suggested correction: The daytime temperatures can reach that high in the winter.

The highest recorded temp for Feb 9 for Downtown LA is 89 set in 2016, and the highest February temperature ever there was 95 on Feb 20, 1995. "The valley" is too ambiguous to identify where it means. So while they "can", they don't, and any movie showing record-setting temps during winter, even if theoretically possible, would be considered wrong.

Other mistake: Charlie spray-paints graffiti on the wall of the gymnasium to protest Principal Newman's refusal to decorate the school for Christmas. We see "Newman" in large letters, an equal sign and a decorated Christmas tree with a big red circle and slash across it. The letters have sharp, smooth edges and the tree and ornaments are highly detailed. It is obvious the graffiti was painted with brushes, not spray paint.

Hot Water (1924)

Other mistake: In late evening a messenger boy riding a bicycle stops across the street from Harold's house. As he turns the handlebars toward the left, the bicycle light shines through the front window of Harold's house. However, in the close-up of the window, the light is shown moving from left to right. It should be moving from right to left.

The Ditch - S8-E7

Other mistake: A female rancher hires workers to dig a water ditch on her property and hires two gunmen for protection. The other ranchers, upset about losing their water supply, vote on whether to fight the woman or let her be. Each man votes by dropping a small stone into a barrel. A black stone means "fight" and a white stone means "let her be." When the barrel is emptied, there are 23 black stones. However, there are only 14 ranchers in the room.

Other mistake: Vanellope steals a car from the Slaughter Race game and speeds off. Shank, the main character of the game, commandeers another car and chases Vanellope. When Shank's car is seen in Vanellope's rear-view mirror, the image is not reversed. Shank appears to be driving from the passenger seat.

After the game ends, a close-up shows the three exiting the stadium along with several other people. The next scene takes place outside the entrance to the Coliseum. In a long shot, only two cars and six people are visible. In 1965, the Coliseum's seating capacity was 101,574. Where did everyone go?

The Case of the Fanciful Frail - S9-E24

Other mistake: Park Milgrave finds a small chest full of realistic counterfeit money in Bruce Strickland's apartment. (Counterfeit money was not used for this scene. The chest actually contained three stacks of dollar-sized paper with a real bill on the top of each one.) Milgrave dumps the money into a metal urn and lights it on fire but the money he dumps out is play money, which does not look even remotely like real money.
