Dental Receptionist - S1-E22

Other mistake: Cathy Calhoun is knitting a pair of socks for her brother, and offers to make a pair for Ozzie. She tells him, "If you really like them, I could get some more of the material." Knitting is done with yarn, not material. (00:06:50)

Other mistake: Bobby, Clovis and Celia Bradley find a large gold nugget in a mine. An assayer says gold is worth $15 an ounce and values the nugget at $87,425. That would mean it weighs 364 pounds, more than double the weight of the record-setting 173-pound gold nugget found in 1869 in Moliagul, Australia.

Top Gun - S6-E26

Other mistake: Five young boys in Ozzie's backyard are pretending to shoot each other with toy guns. Ozzie pretends he's been shot and falls to the ground. When he sits up, the boys compliment him on the way he "died great." Ozzie then tells them about his great-grandfather, a gunfighter known as Six-Gun Nelson. Following a fantasy sequence with Ozzie portraying Six-Gun Nelson, Ozzie is now magically wearing a gun belt with two holsters and two guns.

Dave and the Teenager - S11-E17

Other mistake: When the Harris family moves into an apartment across the hall from David and June Nelson, their 14-year-old daughter, Betty, develops a crush on David. When David and June step out onto their outdoor patio, they see Betty watching them from her own patio. This could not be possible.

Monkey Business (1931)

Other mistake: A crewman tells the ship's captain he knows there are four stowaways because he heard them singing "Sweet Adeline," a popular barbershop quartet song. Harpo never spoke in any of the Marx Brothers films. The crewman could not have heard four voices.

Suggested correction: This would be trivia at best. Just because an actor didn't have dialogue doesn't mean his character couldn't have been singing. Nor was Harpo a mute.

Talking Guns - S4-E6

Other mistake: Gene Autry is chasing Mack Healy and his outlaw gang, who are using Jim Decker's house and mine as a base of operations. Healy gives Decker a rifle and tells him they're being followed by a "claim jumper." Healy says there are seven bullets in the gun. When Autry rides into view, Decker begins shooting. He fires eight shots. (00:18:10)

Other mistake: In "Violent Is The Word For Curly" (1938), the Stooges are mistaken for college professors. They are teaching a group of students at the all-girls school Mildew College to sing "Swingin' The Alphabet." During the song, the girls sing "Curly's a dope." The dean had introduced the three men as Professors Feinstein, Frankfurter and VonStupor - so how did the girls know Curly's name?

Other mistake: In "An Ache In Every Stake" (1941), when Moe and Larry fall out of their ice wagon and land in the street, it is obvious that stunt doubles were used. When the scene cuts from the doubles to the real Moe and Larry, Moe's legs are in a different position.
