Factual error: The piano was invented by Bartolomeo Cristofori in the year 1720, in the 18th century. Miranda recommends a "17th-century grand piano" for Stuart's bed-and-breakfast inn.

Factual error: "The Waltons Homecoming" is a remake of the 1971 TV-movie that led to the 1972-81 television series "The Waltons." In one scene, John-Boy has written a story for The Boston Arts Scholarship Competition. He addressed the envelope to "1815 Redwood St, Boston MA 02122." The movie is set in 1933. The Postal Service did not introduce ZIP codes and two-letter state abbreviations until 1963.

Factual error: Rick Dalton, relaxing on a float in his swimming pool, tunes his radio to 93 FM. A KHJ jingle is heard but KHJ was 930 AM. The station at 93.1 FM in 1969 was KNX-FM.

Factual error: In a scene taking place Sunday, February 9, 1969, KHJ's Robert W. Morgan is heard on the car radio. Morgan hosted a Monday-to-Friday morning show. He never worked on Sunday.

Factual error: Hallie, in London, dials the operator and says she wants to place a collect call to Napa, California. The phone rings once and Annie answers, then begins talking. On such a call, the operator should have told the recipient, "You have a collect call. Will you accept the charges?"

Factual error: As Moana ages from a toddler to 16 years old and her grandmother ages and gets grey hair, Pua the pig and Hei Hei the rooster do not age at all. Hei Hei should not even be alive, considering roosters normally live just six to seven years.

Factual error: Samuel Clemens, who has written several humorous tales for the Territorial Enterprise, tells the publisher he would like to start writing serious news stories. The publisher replies, "This is a newspaper, not a comic strip. You write it and I'll print it." The first comic strip, "The Little Bears," debuted in 1893 and the term "comic strip" did not enter the vocabulary until 1920. "Bonanza" is set in the 1860s.

Factual error: Lucas and Mark are traveling on what is said to be the first train to ever reach the town of North Fork. The episode is set in the 1880s and the train shown was part of the M.K. & T. Railroad, which at that time was operating only in Missouri, Kansas, Texas and Oklahoma. The fictional town of North Fork is located in New Mexico Territory.
