Trivia: In the film, Tommy is seen 'whacking' Morrie. In real life, by the time that happened, Tommy was already gone forever. Someone else was sent to hit Morrie.

Trivia: When Chuck and Penny are in her house getting to know each other, they talk religion. Penny asks Chuck what he is and he says he's Jewish. Penny asks him, 'Ashkenazi?' and he nods. Ashkenazi literally means 'German Jew' or a Jew of German descent. Today it means a European, Russian, or American-born Jew.

Trivia: Though most of the characters depicted existed, there was another young lady, Mich, who, at the time, was Lana's good friend. She also knew Brandon. However, in the events following the tragedy, Mich moved out of Nebraska to avoid the attention.

Battle Royale (2000)

Trivia: In the bungalow, two female students, Hirono and Mitsuko, are having a beef. Hirono taunts Mitsuko, who loses patience and cries out, 'I've had it! Why does everyone gang up on me, what did I do!' In a website dedicated to the film, it states background information [most likely from the manga] that Mitsuko is the 'class slut', hence Hirono's accusations of Mitsuko stealing her boyfriend, among others, is justified.

Trivia: The role of Golde [or Golda] played by Norma Crane was her last role in a film; after starring in several TV episodes, she passed away in 1973.

Trivia: During filming, Ralph Fiennes, who played Amon Goeth, was introduced to actual Holocaust survivors who remembered the nightmare of their lives. When he approached to greet them, hand outstretched, some survivors cowered back in fear; so convincing was his appearance that he reminded them of the real Amon Goeth.

Stand and Deliver (1988)

Trivia: The book of The Two Towers begins with the chapter, 'The Departure of Boromir', where he's found dead. The filmmakers decided to end the cinematic version of The Fellowship of the Ring with Boromir's death to provide a full arc for the character within the single film, whereas the book ends with his fate unresolved.

Trivia: Near the film's end, Henry goes and apologizes to Paulie for being busted. Actually, it was not Henry that went to see Paulie; it was Karen. At the time, Paulie had already refused to help bail out Henry due to the drug charges and because of that, Henry was still inside. Paulie actually told Karen that he had to turn his back on Henry. He then gave the money to Karen.
