Trivia: Director James Cameron knew he had found the perfect Jack in Leo DiCaprio when he invited the young actor to his office for an interview and he noticed that all his female staff were present for the meeting. Later on, during rehearsal, Kate Winslet was so impressed with DiCaprio that she said to James, 'Even if you don't hire me, hire him.' The rest, as they say, is history.

Trivia: In the film, Jake asks Joey the now-famous line, 'Did you f*** my wife?' In an interview with Empire magazine, Joe Pesci, who played Joey, said 'Raging Bull fans come up to me and say, "Did you f*** my wife?" And I tell them, "Certainly. Doesn't everyone?"'

Trivia: According to the DVD extras, a new couple have moved into the house where Trejo and his wife Anna were killed. The lady of the house pulled back a carpet and points with pride where one can see the fake bloodstains of Trejo as he lay dying in the room where McCauley found him.

Trivia: Shortly after Hugo drops a piece of metal from the suspending clock to the ground of the train station, the Station Inspector, assuming that Claude dropped it, loudly asks him if he is 'drunk, inebriated, shikker, etc.' The work shikker is from the Hebrew word shikkor for 'drunk'. Shikker actually means drunkard.

Trivia: When Mattie sits in the bus just before her professor tries to put himself in its path, behind her is a bearded student, an extra. Repeated views of the films will find him a total of 3 times in 3 different scenes; first in the front school yard, and then in the bus, and one more time in a computer lab.

Trivia: Though Mark Hamill's face seemed so different in this film than it was in the first two Star Wars films, people attributed it to a car accident. According to the actor, he had the car accident before Star Wars came out, but what really happened has been terribly distorted. He says he's many supposed stories about facial surgery, surviving a car wreck, and his favorite of all, driving off a cliff.

Trivia: When Pippin causes a loud noise with the suit of armor, Gandalf scolds him by saying, 'Fool of a Took! Throw yourself in next time, and rid us of your stupidity.' The insult in the book was even funnier where Pippin threw a rock down a deep shaft which startled everyone and was scolded by Gandalf as follows: 'Fool of a Took! This is a serious journey, not a hobbit walking party. Throw yourself in next time, and we'll be rid of your stupidity. Now be quiet!'

Trivia: Repeated viewing of the film will show how, at the beginning of the movie, the villains are huge, tall, and menacing, whereas near the end, we see more villains, but these are smaller, shorter, and leaner. Robert Rodriguez explains that at the beginning of the filming he hired big guys to play Moco's henchmen, but they were subsequently "killed off" and he had run out of extras that size, so he resorted to using extras of average height.

Trivia: Though the film never mentions him, the second son of Henry's mob chief Paul, Paulie Jr., was actually Henry's best friend since youth and even introduced him to Karen. In the film he was replaced with Tommy, played by Joe Pesci. Paul Sr. had three sons with his wife Phyliss: Peter, Paul Jr., and Leonard.

Raging Bull (1980)

Trivia: At the beginning, Martin Scorsese did not want to make Raging Bull when he found out it was a sport-themed film, and Scorsese was - and is - no sport fan. When Robert DeNiro first spoke to him about Jake LaMotta, his initial reaction was, 'A boxer? I don't like boxing.' Cooler heads prevailed, and hence the movie was made.

Trivia: In between shots during the boxing scenes, Robert DeNiro would have someone place a punching bag on his corner so he could practice when the cameras weren't rolling. When it came time to shoot, Robert was completely fired up, hence his electrifying performance.

Battle Royale (2000)

Trivia: In the film, the two transfer students are Kiriyama, the silent killer, and Kawada, the winner of a previous Battle Royale. In the original novel, only Kawada was the transfer student; Kiriyama was in the same class selected for this game of death. He was the main antagonist.

Trivia: Robert Pattinson was actually injured during breaks while doing a street scene - hordes of fans chased him out to the street and he was hit by a passing car. Though he was not fatally injured, he was somewhat shaken during the ordeal. Bodyguards and assistants came to his aid and shielded him from the overzealous admirers.
