Corrected entry: When the soldiers flip the cross over onto its face with Jesus hanging from it, you can tell his waist is attached to the cross - if it wasn't, he would be hanging down which he obviously is not.

The Cyber House Rules - S3-E11
Corrected entry: They say the blind guy is now deaf, but if he was blind and deaf, how did he just walk up and know it was Leela? (00:04:20)
Correction: Sense of smell perhaps? It's often said that when people lose a sense, they learn to use the others better.

South Park (1997)
Corrected entry: After the episodes "Cartman's mom is a dirty slut" and "Cartman's mom is still a dirty slut," in which we find out that Cartman's mom is actually his father and his mother is yet to be found, Cartman's mom is still always mentioned as Cartman's mom even when the kids say Cartman has no mom, and also they say he has no dad.
Correction: Cartman has known Liane as his mother for his entire life, and his friends always knew her as Cartman's mom. When people find out that someone was not their biological parent, they often consider the person to still be their parent. And nobody has properly filled the role of a father for Cartman. So, despite knowing that Liane is biologically his father, he continues to feel that she is his mother and he has no father.
Correction: They call her "Cartman's mom" out of habit.

Stargate SG-1 (1997)
Corrected entry: When the girl gives the planet designation for Argos, she gives four digits for the second part of the designation. Planet designations have two sets of three digits.
Correction: The designation for Argos is P3X-8596. They use three digits for most planets, but not all planets, since it is dependant on how many planets are in a given grid.

The Cyber House Rules - S3-E11
Corrected entry: Bender adopts 12 kids, yet in several scenes, there are only 11. (00:11:20)
Correction: Remember occasionally one of the kids lives inside Bender's body.

Joe Dirt (2001)
Corrected entry: When the kid has the accident in the Chem. class, he says "This should make ice" and pours the stuff in, but it immediately vaporizes and he says "Oh, poison mustard gas." But how does he know what it is? He thought he was making ice.
Correction: This is just adding to the ridiculousness of the movie. For example, Joe's new wig at the end, or the whole Buffalo Bob scene. It's just for a cheap laugh.

South Park (1997)
Corrected entry: The American flag in front of the school has an incorrect star formation.
Correction: Almost certainly intentional.
Corrected entry: Throughout the film, we see that the castle is right directly on the edge of the cliff, but in the scenes where the Commodore is proposing and when Jack falls off, both in the same place, we can see rocks jutting out past the castle base. These rocks are not visible when the castle is viewed from any other angle.
Correction: Not sure which rocks you are talking about, so I will give 2 answers. If you're talking about the ones actually in the water they could be tidal OR they could actually be under the water, but visible from above because the water is so clear. If you talking about the ones connected to the base, I watched the scene and you can see them attached to the cliff and then sloping into the sea.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)
Corrected entry: If you look closely at the black gates when they are first shown, you can see that this shot was filmed in the dry delta or bed of a river, the strange thing is that there are no tracks other than the ones made by the horses. There should be plenty of traffic going through there.
Correction: Mordor is a land of poisonous fume and ash. New fallen ash or wind blowing the ash around could account for the missing footprints of marching armies.

Cats & Dogs (2001)
Corrected entry: When the russian kitty throws the spikey ball, it lands in the middle of the room, opens and there are a bunch of spikes all pointing upwards, but when it explodes, all the spikes go to the same side of the room, conveniently toward the couch the dogs are hiding behind.
Correction: The ball most likely uses the same concept as claymores or directional mines.

The Matrix Reloaded (2003)
Corrected entry: At the beginning of the brawl, if you look at one of the Smiths just to the left on Neo, his face looks plastic. (00:53:45)
Correction: "Looks like" is a phrase that is used when you are unsure of something, and similarity - often based on perspective - differs from person to person. While you say it is plastic, others might say it's realistic.

Robocop 2 (1990)
Corrected entry: When Robocop 2 breaks in on the Mayor's meeting near the end, he lifts the big garage door and walks under. When Robocop walks in, there is a giant hole in the door.
Correction: Simple Cain used the darkness to his advantage during the murder scene so it was in his interest to not destroy the door he had no such considerations leaving the building, after all the door is buckled outwards.

The Matrix Reloaded (2003)
Corrected entry: When Neo first starts fighting the Smiths, two grab him by the arms and he does a flip kick thing and kicks two in front of him. In slow motion you can see at least with the left one that he doesn't come anywhere near. (00:53:55)
Correction: non-linear time(from .5 sec to mins) is a technique used very often in M2, it is a repeated motion w/ different angle.

Robin Hood: Men in Tights (1993)
Corrected entry: When Robin is about to be hanged, it is painfully obvious that the platform of the gallows has no trap door.
Correction: You don't need a trapdoor in order to be hung. In fact, in 'Robin Hood Prince of Thieves' the people who were hung were shoved off the edge of the platform. A trapdoor is not necessary.

Bulletproof Monk (2003)
Corrected entry: When Kar unwraps the phone cord from his boss's neck, it is still in coiled fashion, how do you choke someone to death without tightening the cord? (01:06:10)
Correction: Most phone cords even when stretched will return to there coiled state when let go, so although it was tight to choke the guy, it would have become recoiled when it was let go.
Corrected entry: When in the belly of the ship, Will and Elizabeth are talking in the candle light, but if you look at the reflection in their eyes in the closeups, you can see a square white light, most certainly not the flickering yellow of a candle.
Correction: The door to the hold is open, letting in other light.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)
Corrected entry: Right after the dead guys clear the battlefield, there are a few shots of the heroes and it is very smoky in the background. Through the smoke we can see rolling hills in the near background. The problem is, these are not supposed to be there, when we see all the overhead shots, it is an enormous flat plain with a river and a city, etc. It just doesn't match up.
Correction: Minas Tirith, capital of Gondor, is built into a mountainside, which is seen from most shots of it. It follows that it's part of a mountain range with foothills. Pellenor Fields, the plains, lie between Minas Tirith and Osgiliath, while the hills behind Minas Tirith and beside the Fields, where you see the Riders of Rohan line up on. This is why you'd see the hills while looking through the dead guys, who are standing between the camera and Minas Tirith.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)
Corrected entry: When Gandalf and Pippin are talking about death, there are spots of what seems to be water on Gandalf's sword, they change between shots. It's not orc blood because it is clear.
Correction: It is possible that it was water drops on his sword. I am sure that some of the people or soldiers were using water to help put out the fires. It is possible that Gandalf was splashed with some water, even though we did not see it specifically happen.

Stargate SG-1 (1997)
Corrected entry: There is no way to fit a twenty foot wide circular hunk of metal that far down into the Cheyenne Mountain Complex. We never see anything larger than a personnel elevator so how did the Stargate get down there?
Correction: In the first episode of series 6 (Redemption), it is explained that there is a retractable roof (remember it used to be a missile complex).
8th Dec 2003
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000)
Corrected entry: DNA results usually take weeks instead of just days like usually happens on the show.
Correction: They have the lab in-house, so they don't have to send the samples off to another lab; and they prioritise the cases by importance, so samples from the 'big' cases go first. DNA tests themselves don't take weeks, sending them off to a lab, and waiting for the lab to get around to testing them, does. Them having the lab in-house relies on suspension of disbelief, but isn't inherently a mistake.

Correction: The scene where Jesus' cross is turned over for the soldiers to bang the nails against the wood is actually a miracle. Mary Magdalene notices that the cross is suspended above the ground (so that Jesus does not touch the ground or break any bones when the cross is turned over), so she immediately recognizes the presence of God and covers her head, as if she were in the Temple. So, to be correct, Jesus would appear to be still attached to the cross, and that His body would not hang down like the poster suggests.
