Revealing mistake: When John and Lacey brand a calf it doesn't even wince when the iron hits the skin. It looks as if in Mexico they do branding under anaesthetic. (00:30:55)

Revealing mistake: When Alejandra comes to John's room the first time you see distinct t-shirt marks on John's upper body, his arms as tanned as his neck and face. This in spite of the fact that he wears long-sleeved shirts throughout the movie (except, of course, during his nightly encounters with Alejandra). (00:49:30)

Revealing mistake: When the Quoyle ancestors pull the house across the ice the four ropes are hanging loose in spite of the strong pull one should need to move a whole house. Not to mention that the whole idea of getting a house down the cliffs in one piece, pulling it across the ice and lugging it up another cliff requires some strong imagination. (00:28:50)

Witness (1985)

Revealing mistake: When the car falls backwards into the neighbour's garden it doesn't touch the ground but bounces back a few inches before. It must have been held by a cable. (00:01:30)

Life as a House (2001)

Revealing mistake: When Sam tries to preform auto-erotic asphyxiation (when he tries to "hang" himself) on himself in the closet and the rod breaks the falling pieces are cleanly cut and not broken. (00:03:45)

Down by Law (1986)

Revealing mistake: In the hut in the swamps Zack lights a candle. The resulting light is obviously from a spotlight because the flame and the shadows are perfectly still. (01:09:30)

Down by Law (1986)

Revealing mistake: When the three friends have a rest during their escape through the swamps you see water in the background where the ripples and the reflections are totally still, in contrast to all other shots before and after. It must be a painted backdrop. (01:05:20)

Anna and the King (1999)

Revealing mistake: Tuptim's, the king's new concubine's hair is a very obvious wig. The reason may be that for the second half of the film she had to shave her head and the scenes weren't shot in order. (00:32:00)

Anna and the King (1999)

Revealing mistake: When Mrs. Thrall appears for the first time on the phone with a customer a few German words suggest that she is of German origin. Her accent reveals that she is not. (00:45:30)

Revealing mistake: When Finn draws a fish at the beginning of the film you see a dent already in the paper at the spot where he draws the eye. (00:03:10)
