The War (1994)

Revealing mistake: In one of the war flashbacks Stephen carries the wounded Dodge through a trench. They pass by a screaming pig, but in slow motion you can see that it's just a motionless carcass. (01:01:05)

Wonder Boys (2000)

Revealing mistake: When Tripp talks to James in the Gaskells' garden it is snowing quite a lot in the distance, but only very little at the place where they are standing. (00:14:15)

Three Kings (1999)

Revealing mistake: When they find the paper map sticking out the Iraqi soldier's bottom it is neatly rolled up and straight. One should imagine it being quite crumpled after having spent some time in this particular hiding place. (00:08:00)

Crazy in Alabama (1999)

Revealing mistake: When Lucille sees her children through the prison window the bars must have been copied in later. In slow motion you see that they are transparent. (01:20:50)

Crazy in Alabama (1999)

Revealing mistake: Check the scene in slow motion when Peejoe's eye gets damaged by a stone flying off from a lawn mower. The eye doesn't get hurt in the shot when it is hit by the stone, and a close-up shot of the flying stone is reversed, i.e. it's actually flying into and not out of the lawn mower, in an angle where it couldn't be just popping up and down. (00:41:00)

Revealing mistake: The crow that announces the happy news of his granddaughter's birth to the king of Winterland is doing most of its crowing without opening its beak. (00:38:30)

Revealing mistake: The king's youngest daughter is not supposed to see her beary husband's face while he is doing his midnightly human stints. Of course, she blows everything by watching her sleeping beau in candlelight and dropping wax on his forehead. Why is there so much light after the candle is blown out? (00:50:40)

Revealing mistake: When the king's youngest daughter mounts the Polar Bear King the lack of effort reveals that she does this with the help of a cunningly placed stepladder. (00:25:35)

NancyFelix

Revealing mistake: When the Polar Bear King comes to the Winterland castle for the second time the locals try to stop him. If you watch the encounter in slow motion you see that a) the bear's paws have the texture of a sturdy mat and b) the old guy who is being hit loses his balance in due anticipation. (00:23:20)

Havana (1990)

Revealing mistake: In the torture scene Roberta's head is stuck into a bucket full of water. When she is released she is not even breathing hard, only in a later shot you hear her gasp for breath. (00:47:20)

Havana (1990)

Revealing mistake: Another movie with plenty of getting in and out of cars, without any car ever being locked or unlocked - in a crime-ridden place as pre-revolution Havana.

Mr Bones (2001)

Revealing mistake: Towards the middle of the movie Fats has a motorbike accident and is seen riding into a huge rock. When the stuntman actually hits the rock and goes ballistic there are huge piles of straw right next to the rock that hadn't been there before. In the course of the event the stone gets shifted by about a metre, thus revealing itself as a prop. (00:45:40)

Revealing mistake: When Aurora sees Breedlove off at the airport they say good-bye and he walks through the door, which closes after him. After a few seconds she comes back to talk to him once more, and you can see through the tinted glass panes that he had been waiting right behind the door to come out again. (01:44:20)

Hanover Street (1979)

Revealing mistake: The British intelligence officer Wells, who is being trained to infiltrate the Gestapo headquarters at Lyon, would never pass as a German because of his slight but still quite noticable accent. (00:47:45)

Hanover Street (1979)

Revealing mistake: On their escape in the jeep from the Gestapo headquarters the two protagonists are shot at directly from the front. One bullet makes a hole in the windshield right in front of Sellinger's chest and should have hit him. (01:27:15)
