Titanic (1997)

Corrected entry: Right after Jack rescues Rose from her slip, the crewman show up. He tells Jack not to move. Jack stands up in his stocking feet, his pants and shirt. Next scene the "Master of Arms" is putting on the handcuffs and Jack has his jacket on too.

Correction: There is plenty of time for Jack to get dressed, and I can't see a reason why he wouldn't have been allowed to.

Titanic (1997)

Corrected entry: In the dock scene, Cal Hockley gets out of the car and looks up at the ship presumably - but if you look the ship is actually behind him, recognisable by the black and gold paintwork. The next shot shows him the right way looking up and forwards - it is glaringly obvious.

Correction: Whatever there is behind Cal doesn't look like the Titanic.

Rain Man (1988)

Corrected entry: When Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman are driving to Vegas in the 40's Buick convertible there is a shot through the front windshield and you can see Tom's hands on a bare steering wheel. While he is still driving in the same scene a steering wheel cover mysteriously appears.

Correction: They drive to Vegas twice, once because it was on the way and once because they turned around to gamble. On neither drive the steering wheel is covered by anything in any shot.

Rain Man (1988)

Correction: After Charlie gets up to make a phone call, that is before the toothpick episode, we don't see any more cigarettes, not the one he was smoking before nor a new one.

About Schmidt (2002)

Corrected entry: In the scene before the funeral Randall's ponytail is only about 2 inches long. When Randall comes in later to tell about his business adventure the ponytail is about 9 inches long.

Correction: When Jeannie and Randall arrive at the airport to attend the funeral you don't get a clear view of Randall's ponytail, not enough to judge its length - Warren's head is always in the way. Thereafter the length doesn't change for the rest of the movie.

About Schmidt (2002)

Corrected entry: After Schmidt takes his daughter to the Omaha airport, he goes out to his car (a recent model Cadillac), and it won't start. Next, we see the tow truck pulling up. We never see his Caddy again. Two weeks later, he takes off in the Winnebago, with the Caddy nowhere to be seen. What happened to it?

Bruce

Correction: At no point after the Cadillac gets towed you get to see enough of the driveway or the street in front of the house to say that the car is gone. A stronger argument is that Warren uses the mobile home even to run small errands, like shopping or beating up Jay for having had an affair with his wife. In my opinion, the car could still be in the workshop as he had totally fallen apart in the first weeks after his wife's death and probably had no mind for such minor worries.

Corrected entry: When the guard shoots Tommy in the yard, he fires twice. But when Tommy is shown lying on the ground, he has four bullet holes in his back.

Krista

Correction: There could be a difference between different editions. I've seen the movie on DVD and heard four distinct shots.

The Hours (2002)

Corrected entry: In the beginning of the movie, in the scene where Virginia Woolf is going to the river, she puts a rock in a pocket of her coat. But when she walks into the river, her coat actually floats.

Correction: When she walks into the river only the lower part of the coat below the pocket floats.

The Hours (2002)

Corrected entry: Right at the beginning of the film, when Woolf drowns herself and her body is seen floating underwater there is a shot of her shoeless. A second later her shoes are back on again, so she can 'poetically' lose them as she's dragged by the river's waters.

Correction: When she is seen floating in the water she still has her right shoe on, the one she loses in the next shot.

The Hours (2002)

Corrected entry: In the middle of the movie, Mr Woolf enters the house only to find that Virginia has gone out. He removes his boots upon entering, but they are still on his feet when he runs out the door.

Correction: At the place where he takes off the boots we see already the regular shoes he is wearing in the house and when he leaves. We just don't see him putting them on, but there is no reason why he shouldn't have.

The Hours (2002)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Virginia and Leonard are at the Richmond train station, Leonard's tie keeps changing position during the scene. The entire time he's standing talking to Virginia, his tie goes from skewed to the right side to being straight, and back and forth. The button second from the top on his shirt is also undone. When the two are sitting on the bench at the end of the scene, his tie is straight and the previously undone button is now buttoned.

Correction: I can't see a real problem with Leonard's tie. The knot sits firmly in the middle, only the tie itself shifts a little to the left off and on, which doesn't really qualify as a mistake. And when they sit on the bench the collar is unbuttoned as before.

The Hours (2002)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Julianne Moore picks up her son from the babysitter's house toward the end of the movie, the boy looks like he is sitting in the backseat. A couple of seconds later we notice he is in the front seat.

Correction: In all shots on the way back Richie is seen sitting in the front seat.

Two Weeks Notice (2002)

Corrected entry: In the scene when Sandra first meets Hugh to talk about the community center, if you look in the background you'll see that it's raining, but neither Sandra or Hugh is getting wet.

Correction: It's only a few drops, and you see them also on Hugh's jacket.

Two Weeks Notice (2002)

Corrected entry: In the scene towards the beginning when Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant first meet and she is talking about the community centre, Sandra is wearing a singlet underneath a long sleeved shirt, however in the next shot she is wearing a short sleeved shirt underneath, then it changes back to a singlet again.

Correction: What she wears underneath doesn't change. The impression is caused by the changing creases in the sleeve of her blouse.

NancyFelix

Corrected entry: At the begining of the movie while John Cusack is talking to Cameron Diaz in the apt. John is in front of their couch and in the background behind the couch you can see a hand reach up and take something off of the table. (00:03:40)

Correction: You can see from the way it moves that it's not a hand. It's obviously part of one of Lotte's many animals, either a furry tail or a bird's long neck.

Maverick (1994)

Corrected entry: When Maverick is talking to Joseph after getting back the money from the fake indians, look in the background during their talk, you can see a car in the background driving down the road.

MCKD

Correction: I tried really hard to spot the car but the only thing I could see was a cloud of dust in the background that MAY have been caused by a car that MAY have been deleted when the DVD was re-edited. I think this mistake, if it is valid, should be specified a little better, e.g. by a time code.

Maverick (1994)

Corrected entry: When Bret is kissing Annabelle goodbye to become the "human sacrifice" she starts off holding the sides of his face while kissing him, as shown from the camera angle in the front, but when they are shown from the back, her hands are near the back of his head, then they are back on the sides of his face when the camera angle goes back to the front again.

MCKD

Correction: Annabelle's hands are at no time near the back of Maverick's head. She starts with her fingers at his ear and slowly lets his head go while they kiss. Continuity guaranteed from shot to shot.

Maverick (1994)

Corrected entry: When Coop is showing everyone that his 2 guns are the only ones allowed on the boat, he starts off with the smaller black gun in his left hand but when he goes to put the guns back in his holsters, the small black gun is now in his right hand.

MCKD

Correction: The small black gun is still in his left hand. It looks a bit like the other one in this shot because its handle is white.

Maverick (1994)

Corrected entry: How is it possible that the dealer could switch decks on the last hand in front of all those poker players and Maverick was the only one to see the switch?

MCKD

Correction: He was the only one who paid attention.

NancyFelix

Corrected entry: When Amsterdam sees the man who told Bill who he was, he walks up to him with his hands in his pockets. Camera angle changes and his hands are now at his side.

MCKD

Correction: The first time Amsterdam and Johnny meet one-on-one after the betrayal Amsterdam has his hands in his pockets, then takes them out and reaches for a beam. There's nothing wrong with this scene.
