Eurotrip (2004)

Corrected entry: Despite the fact that their passports were stolen, the gang is still able to legally travel to Berlin and Rome.

Correction: They could have acquired emergency passports. Plus many European countries have stopped routine passport checks across borders with other EU countries.

Corrected entry: Larry Flynt was in fact married three times before marrying Althea. Nowhere in the film were the previous marriages ever mentioned, or even the fact that he had children from previous marriages and relationships.

megamii

Correction: Just because something is not mentioned does not make it a mistake. These facts may have been deliberately ignored at the request of Larry Flynt himself, or just not important to the plot.

Red Dwarf (1988)

The Inquisitor - S5-E2

Corrected entry: When Kryten is lying to Lister and saying that his deletion is not Lister's fault, his right foot (and eventually his whole body) is jiggling: Lister says that this is how he knows Kryten is lying. However, Kryten has told lies many times since Lister taught him to, and this foot-jiggling has never been seen before or since.

Correction: Kryten, although now able to override the program preventing him from lying to humans, may still find it a little uncomfortable lying to his best friend (i.e. Lister).

Red Dwarf (1988)

Timeslides - S3-E5

Corrected entry: When Lister convinces his past self to "invent" the Tension Sheet, he, Cat and Kryten vanish, having never become part of the Dwarf's crew. When Rimmer visits Lister, Lister does not remember him, because they have never met - if Lister can't remember people he's never met, why can Rimmer and Holly?

Correction: Rimmer and Holly are still in the timeline where all of them were once aboard Red Dwarf. Reinventing history has 'erased' Lister's memory of being aboard.

Correction: Wouldn't the kids have explained the situation to them? After all, you don't normally take a weapon to your graduation, and you would be smartly dressed for the occasion.

Corrected entry: In the scene where the guy in the vampire suit is interviewing the smart gremlin. He is in a TV studio. Shouldn't the lights be hurting the gremlin? They are really, really bright, and bright light hurts them. I know that they had an anti-light potion or something, but they gave that to the one who had wings.

Correction: Gremlins (and Mogwai for that matter) cannot be hurt by artificial lights, only direct sunlight. They are just afraid of any light, and the smart gremlin is wearing sunglasses so isn't affected.

The 51st State (2001)

Corrected entry: When Felix goes home to his mother's house, it's breakfast time, and he's carrying a copy of the Liverpool Echo. As any Scouser will tell you, the Liverpool Echo is an EVENING paper, that hits the streets around 4pm. Was Felix having a very very late breakfast? (01:08:50)

Correction: It could be the previous evening's paper, which can still be available early the following morning.

Big Brother - S1-E1

Corrected entry: When Del and Rodney are in the Nag's Head for the first time, he introduces Trigger to Rodney as though they have never met. But if Del and Trigger went to the same school, surely Rodney would have known who Trigger was and why he is called "Trigger"?

Correction: Just because he's an old schoolmate of Del's dosen't mean that Rodney will automatically know him. My family don't know half the people that I went to school to.

The 51st State (2001)

Corrected entry: When they arrive at the Manchester pub, the blackboard outside says Manchester Utd v. Liverpool but the match itself is played at Anfield, Liverpool's Home ground. In Britain, the home team is ALWAYS first on the team sheet, no matter where it is written so the match (written the way it was) should have been played at Old Trafford. (00:15:50)

Correction: Theoretically correct, but bear in mind it's a MANCHESTER pub. Mancunians regard Scousers as the sworn enemy, and therefore would not be too keen at seeing Liverpool's name before Man Utd's regardless of where the game is being played.

The Simpsons (1989)

Correction: Not necessarily. Although not routine, there may be an inauguration in 2030 if the previous president's term is terminated early for some reason (e.g. they die or are impeached, or simply resign).

Bottom (1991)

Bottom's Up - S1-E5

Corrected entry: When the man comes into the shop he buys 3 bottles of champagne and writes the cheque out to Eddie. Later on Eddie says "I'm not bothered, I've got a cheque for £53 here." It isn't possible to divide 53 by 3 and get a whole number.

David Mercier

Correction: Who says it's exactly £53? Could be £52.98 for champagne at £17.66 a bottle.

Red Dwarf (1988)

Correction: As a service droid, Kryten is programmed not to lie to humans (Lister is trying to get him to override this), this does not necessarily mean he cannot lie to other robots.

Red Dwarf (1988)

Correction: I believe there was a door - it was the entrance to the Captain's office.

Andy Benham

Corrected entry: Around halfway through the movie when Sherman gets home from his first date with Carla he puts a microwavable dinner in the microwave but there is a tinfoil top to it. For some reason this doesn't cause any problems.

Correction: It may not be tinfoil. You can get microwavable foil, used underneath microwaveable pizzas, so no reason it couldn't be used in a ready meal too.

Red Dwarf (1988)

Back in the Red (1) - S8-E1

Corrected entry: If the entire crew has been resurrected, shouldn't there be another Kochanski because the one from starbug is the Kochanski from another Dimension?

Correction: Simple. We can assume that Kryten's nanobods know there already is a Kochanski. They didn't feel the need to resurrect another.
