Equilibrium (2002)

Corrected entry: When Preston opens fire in the dark room at the resistance in the beginning of the movie, he has just two pistols. He does a continuous, non stop rate of fire with both guns very rapidly for about 17 to 18 seconds straight, never stopping to reload. Given the size of the pistols, there is no way he had that much ammo in the guns to keep shooting that rapidly for that long. (00:04:10)

Quantom X

Correction: It's not the size of the gun that determines how many bullets it can fire between reloads, it's the length of the magazine. Besides, this scene isn't meant to be a continuous display of events. The angle changes from a wide shot showing Preston illuminated by the muzzle flash, to POV shots of the people Preston is shooting. These two angles are showing the same events twice, from two different perspectives, seeming to double the amount of time Preston spends firing rounds. Compare the number of bodies in this scene to the number of guards Preston kills later when they find the puppy in his trunk and how long it takes him to kill those guards; it didn't take Preston 17 to 18 seconds to kill the people in that room.

Corrected entry: It is impossible for Vanilla Ice to have come up with a song so quickly for when the Turtles and Freaks were fighting at his concert. The fight was an unexpected, unplanned event that crashed his concert, and he suddenly had a fully written song called Ninja Rap for the fight, specifically singing about the Turtles. (01:09:50)

Quantom X

Correction: It's called "freestyling" and every jazz musician and rap battle contestant ever has used this method of performing. For example, the popular song "Linus and Lucy" which is widely regarded as the theme to the animated "Peanuts" franchise was originally performed as an improvisation. The music in this rap is a generic beat to which Vanilla Ice improvises words. Any rapper worth his salt could have done what Mr. Ice does here.

Charlotte's Web (1973)

Corrected entry: When the goose starts singing to the rat about the fair, she mentions candy on the ground. At that moment the rat's eyes bug out and his jaw drops as he drools. The very next shot is to the side and his eyes are then normal and his mouth closed.

Quantom X

Correction: It was a visual gag in a cartoon, the gag was over so he was shown as normal.

Charlotte's Web (1973)

Corrected entry: When the rat is feasting at the fair, he eats many things. His body expands much more, proportionately, when he ate a single banana, that when eating a half of a watermelon.

Quantom X

Correction: The banana expansion was a just a visual gag; he's a cartoon rat during a musical montage in an animated film. He talks too, but that's not any more a "factual error" than this is.

Corrected entry: When Jack and the other humans make it up the bean stalk for the first time, they are shown above the cloud line. At that altitude, the air would be very thin, making it difficult for them to breathe. Yet the movie shows them having no issues with this whatsoever, even being very physically active.

Quantom X

Correction: By the same logic, the land of the giants shouldn't be floating due to gravity. It's a fantasy world. Things such as lack of air obviously do not apply here and maybe the magic of the beanstalk means there's enough air to breathe. Either way it's magic so we can't know what the scientific properties of a giant beanstalk and a floating giant kingdom are.

Tropic Thunder (2008)

Corrected entry: During the phone conversation with Flaming Dragon and Peck, while Les is listening, the guy on the phone making ransom demands for Speedman at first calls him Speedman. "We are Flaming Dragon. Speedman is with us now. For 50 million, you will get him back." This is the only time he calls him Speedman, when he wouldn't have anyways, only knowing him as Simple Jack. Thoughout the rest of the phone call, and the next call, he only refers to him as Simple Jack.

Quantom X

Correction: This is a character decision, not a mistake. He first calls him Speedman, because that is who he is. No one will take him seriously at first if he called him Simple Jack. Afterwards he goes back to what he feels comfortable with.

MasterOfAll

Corrected entry: Throughout the movie, it is established that the Vikings have an Irish accent, or relative of. All the adults have the accent. Yet Hiccup does not. He is born and raised around them, yet he seems to not have any hint of an Irish accent. He only does once during the film, and that is when he is imitating his father's voice. Other than that, he does not have an accent to match his kin. In fact, none of the teens seem to have the Irish accent, which makes no sense.

Quantom X

Correction: It's a Scottish accent not Irish, and since Vikings would not have been speaking English anyway, the accents are mostly irrelevant.

Christaffa

Corrected entry: During the stakeout, Earl asks how long they had been there. Hank responds with coming up on 12 minutes. Almost 2 minutes later, Earl asks again and Hank says coming up on 13 minutes. It should have been 14 at least. (01:01:10)

Quantom X

Correction: Not really. If it was just after 11 minutes, it can be said to be coming up on 12 minutes. Almost two minutes later, it can still be be coming up on 13 minutes.

Corrected entry: When the twins fly in front of the giant dragon after insulting it, the giant dragon blasts a line of fire at them. The fire passes by the twins on their dragon on their right side, then in the next shot it's passing on the left. (01:16:50)

Quantom X

Correction: The Dragon actually fires twice at the twins. we see the first one go by the twins completely than we hear the second one as we view the twins from the back.

X-Men (2000)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Logan is trying to save Rogue from the mutation generator, he jumps down between the rotating rings to claw her free. However, the rings were moving much too fast for him to just simply leap down between them given the speed he falls.

Quantom X

Correction: Shots of the machine when stationary make it fairly clear that the rings are not complete - they're more like horseshoes, open at the top. Logan simply got on top of the machine and dropped safely through the gap at the top of the rings.

Daredevil (2003)

Corrected entry: Whereas Matt would have gloves on when in his costume, he would have been touching it without gloves when it was his walking cane. Thus, his finger prints would have been on the cane that killed Electra's father and taken by the police, leading them to arrest Matt.

Quantom X

Correction: Not only does Daredevil have several walking sticks, but if Matt Murdock's fingerprints are not on file then they would have no way of identifying them, even if his prints were lifted.

Tropic Thunder (2008)

Corrected entry: When Lazarus and Sandusky are looking at the heroin plant with their scopes, they see Speedman being tortured by being dunked in and out of water. Here Speedman is still in his solder clothes that he was captured in, with dark green torn shirt and dark bandanna. Only moments later, without any indication of time passing, it shows the Flaming Dragon grunts dragging a now dry Speedman into the plant. He is now wearing a black robe and a red bandanna.

Quantom X

Correction: The fact that he is dry and in different clothes is the indication of time passing.
