Continuity mistake: When Rosemary finds her second bunch of smooth ink cap mushrooms and picks one, then declares, "Fungus Ferguson. My old college professor," who will be able to tell Rosemary what is special about smooth ink caps - this has been bugging Rosemary for days - and then grabs her cardigan without dealing with the mushroom in her hands, which is no longer to be seen.

Continuity mistake: When Corie decides to meet Paul at the bus stop, she clings to his right side, but from the front view she's now clinging to his left side.

Continuity mistake: When the telephone man comes to install the phone, his workbox is under his left arm then suddenly it's under his right arm.

Continuity mistake: Mrs Waggett brings in a tray with cups of tea on it while her husband is on the phone, reporting the sinking of a ship that contained hundreds of bottles of whisky. Mrs Waggett puts the tray on the left side of the screen, then, taking two cups with her, moves to the right of screen and that's where she stays when her husband finishes talking on the phone and, amazingly, the tray that was on the left side is now in her hands, without her moving to the left side to collect it.

Continuity mistake: When Webster steals a huge diamond, one of the guards comes to from the chloroform and raises the alarm before Webster has left the building. As he hurries to leave, Webster gets shot in the left arm, and he must use a truck as a battering ram to break through a garage door; he does this, but the garage door is now on the front of the truck, obstructing Webster's view, until, suddenly, it vanishes - all that's left are the side bits of the garage.

Continuity mistake: When Jim comes to see Webster, Webster is in the bath with a sponge that he constantly wipes himself with, but the sponge moves from one hand to the other, repeatedly, without him actually doing it.

Continuity mistake: When Webster breaks into his first house, he has his briefcase open, so he can get at the items he needs, but before he leaves, he picks up the torch that is sitting on his closed briefcase - he never closed his briefcase; it was open all the time.

Continuity mistake: After the bank robbery, Bill Murry is robbed, and the robber takes his wallet, which contains 4 one dollar bills. As the robber walks away, we get a glimpse of Bill's shirt, which is not tucked in and we can see money strapped to his body. But a bit later, we again see Bill's shirt, and this time his shirt is tucked in back and front - there is no money to be seen, and Bill never tucked his shirt in.

Continuity mistake: When Adam is blown up, he gets chocolate all over his cheeks. Then he has a nap, but when he wakes up, all the chocolate is gone.

Continuity mistake: When Treece's air line gets caught up with sharks and he is dragged out of the wreck, the only thing to hold onto is a metal bar that is attached to a metal plate, but when David and Gail arrive with the suction device, suddenly there is a whole lot more going on on the sea floor, including a perfect hole to put the suction tube in, so they can turn it on and, after cutting David's and Treece's air lines, they can rise to the surface, hidden from the sharks by all the air and rubbish from the suction tube.

Continuity mistake: When David and Gail are diving in Bermuda, David finds an old fork. As he examines it, wiping away rubbish, the glove on his right hand comes and goes, repeatedly.

Continuity mistake: When the girls are just finishing their look of the walled garden, Laura's scarf that has been visible on both sides up until now vanishes on the left side, then it comes and goes repeatedly.

Continuity mistake: At dinner, there is a red wine bottle that stands in the middle of the table, but when Trish arrives, the bottle is now on her placemat.

Continuity mistake: When Ripley and the marines go to where the colonists are, there is a ladder in front of the vehicle that was driven inside; the ladder would be in the way if the vehicle was driven further in. But when all hell breaks loose and Ripley decides to drive the vehicle further in, to rescue the marines, the ladder is gone - in fact, a lot of things look different the second time round.

Continuity mistake: When Ripley and the marines arrive on the planet, it is pouring with rain. But a minute after being inside the buildings, they are all dry.

Continuity mistake: In the beginning, Ripley wakes up in a sweat, practically crying. She rings Burke on the visual phone and she has a droplet of sweat on her nostril, but it's there, then it isn't, then it, is; it comes and goes.

Continuity mistake: While the girls are packing up Charlie's belongings after he died, Rosemary brings out the small bag from the bathroom. Laura is seen rummaging around in the bag, looking for Charlie's auto-injector, but she just moves them around, until the next shot, where she suddenly has half of the items out of the bag and in her hand.

Continuity mistake: In the beginning, Rosemary is riding on the back of a motor scooter. Problem is: when the green screen is being used, Rosemary's jacket is light-brown, and when stunt doubles are being used and it's not a green screen her jacket is now dark-brown.

Continuity mistake: When the police are interviewing people about Mr Volker's death, the girls are talking to the lawnmower man, who turns the ignition on and releases the brake, but in the next shot he reaches down to release the brake, despite having already done it.

Continuity mistake: When Truman is paying the warden for unlimited access to the two killers, he places a brown envelope with the money in it on the desk between them. In one shot he just places the envelope then draws back, but in another shot he places the envelope and pushes it forward before drawing back.
