Continuity mistake: When the red Ford Bronco is driven off the ferry (ignoring all the impossible factors required for it to successfully do so), it flips through the air and contacts the water going backwards, its right/rear tail light entering the water first. The closer next shot shows the truck sink somewhat as it continues to flip backward, onto its roof. The very next shot shows the interior of the truck as it enters the water right-side up and going forward as water rushes in. Denzel lurches forward and down, driving his face into the water that is about waist level. The next exterior shot is underwater as the truck now lands in the water, nose first and right-side up. Continuity mistake: When Chloe visits Jimmy's room for the first time, he glances at her chest and a close-up shows she has a very ample endowment- very high, very round in the open area of her top. Continuity mistake: When Jimmy first leaves his house and starts running down the street, the curb is straight as he passes in front of two houses and falls forward. The shot changes to show him getting back up, and the house at left is the house at right in the prior shot - meaning he's now run past at least three homes along this straight curb. The shot then changes to show Jimmy running away from camera, beginning in a cul de sac, which has a continuously curved curb, and he can't have past more than one house yet. (00:19:35)

Continuity mistake: After Jimmy goes aboard the 'Bright and Shiny' bus, his mother discovers he is missing and screams. Several quick exterior shots follow as her scream continues. One of these shots is an overhead of the street Jimmy ran along earlier, and is actually the end of the very same footage. If you look hard, you can see Jimmy in his bubble at the end of the street, turning and looking left and right. Since he's on the bus already, he can't be here, too. (00:24:10)

Continuity mistake: When Palpatine and his rescuers emerge from the elevator, the characters' positions in relation to each other changes radically despite nobody moving. First shot, the line up, left to right, is Hammer Head, Trooper, female Jedi, Palpatine, Trooper and four-eyes (the 3 Jedi are in the front row, the rest behind). In the next shot, the order is now (right to left, from behind) Hammer Head, female Jedi, Trooper, Palpatine, Trooper and four-eyes (Palpatine now in the front row). Next, a tighter shot has Hammer Head moved to the back row, behind a trooper. Meanwhile, the two troopers keep switching sides, as the rifle is seen at left or at right, while the rocket launcher is not seen at all until the troopers are suddenly together at the left of the screen when Hammer Head yells. Continuity mistake: After Padme drags Threepio away as the attack on the city begins, Mace Windu's fighter swoops across the screen from left to right, and it rolls onto its side to show us the top of the cockpit. We see his canopy is similar to the design found in the 'Revenge of the Sith' film, being comprised of three large panels of glass. Unlike the film version (which has a small porthole behind the pilot's head), there is no glass behind Windu. But when the shot cuts to show him inside, there are three windows behind him. Seconds later, another interior view shows the three 'windows' are now solid panels. (00:28:20)

Continuity mistake: When Palpatine and his rescuers are in the descending elevator, a wide shot shows the trooper with the rocket launcher standing at the far left of the shot, in front of the hammer-headed Jedi. The shot then tightens in and suddenly this trooper is behind Palpatine, who is behind that Jedi. (00:39:20)

Continuity mistake: After Arnold has taken the fire truck, John is chased by a single police car. The overhead shot pans left to show the crane approaching from John's right. This shot shows the crane arm is pointing rearward. But when the crane bursts through the wall a split-second later, the arm points forward. (00:36:20)

Continuity mistake: When John crashes the Toyota truck into the rear of the silver Taurus, the car's bumper cover lands on the ground to the right of the car, between it and a parked car. When John drives away from the accident, he drives between the Taurus and the parked car, but the cover isn't there to be run over- it's now tucked under the Taurus at the right/rear corner. Then, as the crane smashes the Taurus, the cover is now well to the car's left, in the lane of opposing traffic. (00:31:10)

Continuity mistake: When Nick is driving Elizabeth home, he mentions buying her a ring. The steering wheel is the standard hard plastic type found on trucks of it's era. Continuity mistake: Stevie's radio station is shown located in a lighthouse, yet the night shot early in the film shows an entirely different lighthouse than is seen in daylight mid-way through the film. The later version's top, red portion isn't nearly as tall, and it has at least a third of its glass replaced with solid panels, while the earlier one is taller and all glass. (00:13:35 - 00:47:35)
