Corrected entry: Bill Reynolds could not have been missing for three days (as his wife told Sarah Lowell), because he was at the death penalty of Mr. Aimes.

Correction: The day Ames is executed, Reynolds attends (and we can assume is taken shortly after). That night, Darby is killed. The next day, Shelton is arrested (Reynolds now missing a full day), and that evening we see Rice in Shelton's home, sifting for evidence. The next day (Reynold's now missing 2 days), Rice interviews Shelton in the large cage room. That night, Rice puts his daughter to bed, leaving the door cracked slightly. The next afternoon, Reynolds' body is found (3 full days missing).

9 (2009)

Corrected entry: When 5 loses the map in the dust storm, it blows away. Later, when 7 notices the map, it is on a stick that is stabbed to the ground. The wind wouldn't have been able to do that to the map, and none of the other numbers would have put the map onto the stick.

Correction: Wind does not only travel sideways. Updrafts and downdrafts happen (the latter of which have been blamed for planes crashing to ground). There's no logical reason why a good wind can't slap a piece of paper onto the end of a vertical stick.

Corrected entry: John says to Marcus that they have been at war since "before either of them existed". Marcus was born in 1975, and the first terminator goes back to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor, so Marcus was in fact 9 years old.

greengirl

Correction: As far as Connor is concerned, he isn't talking to Marcus, the human convict that was executed. John is talking to a Terminator, created many years later, that merely looks like Marcus.

Knowing (2009)

Corrected entry: Movie continuously states 50th anniversary being in 2009 and that the current events are taking place in 2009. However, the "date codes" that are used on the "paper with numbers" has the current events (plane crash, subway, end of world) for the year 2008, ie. 10/17/08, 10/26/08.

Correction: Not so. The paper's date codes all along the bottom indicate dates in October 2009.

Corrected entry: When Marcus and Kyle are getting the Jeep in the wide shot a crew member is visible blowing up dust on the side of the mountain in the valley. (00:33:05)

Correction: There is no crewmember anywhere in these scenes that I can find, even with frame-by-frame review. The only shot that even suggests such a thing is when the camera is on a grassy slope, angled upward a bit as the Jeep begins to roll forward and down the hill. In the background toward the right is a telephone pole in front of a line of trees. Between the pole and Jeep, as the camera rises up, an object that suggests a human head is revealed. Just before the Jeep blocks our sight of it however, we see this dark, egg-shaped mass is atop a thin, dark pole... not a human neck.

Corrected entry: Susannah first comes to the ranch during the summer of 1913. In the garden, Isabel Two tells Susannah that she is 13 years old. If you pay attention to the dates in the letters written, Tristan has left Susannah on his journey in 1918 and sends a letter saying he has become a hunter in 1919. The voice over by Stab then describes "many years" that Tristan is still supposed to be absent after his last letter before he returns, however when he marries Isabel Two she is said to be 20 years old. That would mean he would have had to come home in 1920 at the latest.

Correction: If we are to take the dates of all the letters and the two statements that attribute Isabelle II's age as factually correct, the only thing not accurate are the statements of One Stab who, when relating them to us in narration, is a very old man telling stories of events that took place at least 40 years ealier. Such inaccuracies can easily be attributed to artistic license in his story-telling or the failing memory of an elderly man, or a combination of both. In his mind, it may very well seem as if Tristan was gone many years when it was in fact just a few, as One Stab did love Tristan dearly.

johnrosa

Decker also says Susannah married Alfred 'several years ago'. Isabelle II should have been older when she married Tristan.

Star Trek (2009)

Corrected entry: Just after Sulu volunteers for the away team, there is a beauty shot of the Enterprise, showing the "bridge window" and most of the primary ship hull. Unfortunately, the "NCC-1701" text on the hull is facing the wrong way. In all other shots of the ship, the text faces away from the bridge. In this shot it is facing towards the bridge.

Correction: No it is not. You're being thrown off by the way the camera's view does a roll and reverses the viewing angle. Look again - the tops of the numbers are toward the bridge as in all other shots.

The Dark Knight (2008)

Corrected entry: When Bruce Wayne and Lucius Fox are looking at new Batman equipment, after Bruce picks up one of the arm plates, he presses a button which makes the blades come out, and as he does this, he is holding it towards himself, so the blades are facing him, but in the next shot, he is holding it to the side of his body, and so when he pushes another button, the blades shoot out and hit the wall, when they should have hit him in the chest.

The_Joker

Correction: Not so. Just before the shot changes, we see the arm plate turn away from him.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Terminator appears for the first time he arrives in a sphere that burns everything in its way, the tires from the trailer are affected by this but the trailer doesn't fall down like it should. (00:06:20)

Correction: Since the trailer has dual rear axles, and only the rear-most pair of tires were chopped, there's no reason an empty trailer would drop the slightest bit, and we can see thru the opening that there's no cargo near to new hole.

Star Trek (2009)

Corrected entry: When Spock teleports to Vulcan just before the planet is destroyed, the image begins with him on a large slab of rock on one knee. It appears there is an airplane flying across the image from right to left, just above his head.

Correction: Yes, there is a craft of some kind racing across the sky far from camera. There are many doing so at various points during the emergency evacuation of the planet. Vulcans do possess the the capacity for flight.

Corrected entry: In the scene where the T-1000 has copied Janelle and is talking on the phone in her kitchen, there are two plastic water bottles on top of the refrigerator. A moment later after the T-1000 changes back into its policeman form, one of the water bottles has disappeared and the other has moved. (00:42:30)

Correction: The later camera angle is so low, the refrigerator is blocking the view of the other bottles. It can't be known if they are no longer there.

Star Trek (2009)

Correction: Actually you can't. You can see Kirk's belt which he wears throughout his time on Nero's ship, but after checking frame-by-frame, nothing out of the ordinary is visible in or under his pants.

johnrosa

Corrected entry: In the famous scene where the ape throws a bone into the sky, in one shot the bone at first revolves anti-clockwise and then in the next shot, just before the jump cut to the shot of the spaceship, it now revolves clockwise.

Correction: As the background changes dramatically, it's obvious this is shot from the other side.

johnrosa

Corrected entry: In the beginning of the film where we see the ape-men, it looks as if they are wearing Converse All-Star type gym shoes that have been painted to look like feet. Perhaps the rocky terrain was too hard on the costumed actors' feet.

Correction: No shot clearly indicates this suggestion. A more specific scene description or timecode is needed to verify this claim as the 'Dawn of Man" sequence is 20 minutes long.

2010 (1984)

Corrected entry: When Bowman fades from the TV his wife is watching, a commercial for travel to Sri Lanka comes on. Sri Lanka was the chosen home of the film's author, Arthur C. Clarke.

Correction: No, a commercial for Sheraton Hotels is aired, with the dialogue specifically saying "Escape. The Sheraton Hotel and Coral Bay Lounge. For those who never outgrow the wonder."

johnrosa

Corrected entry: When all the apes are gathering around the big block at the beginning of the film, look carefully at the sky. The clouds never move, not even slowly. (00:11:55 - 00:13:55)

OL1V3R666

Correction: It's not that they NEVER move; they just don't appear to move within the few minutes we are watching, which is perfectly natural.

johnrosa

Corrected entry: When Dave recaptures Frank with the pod, one of Frank's legs is outside the pod's pincers, but when Dave releases Frank to reenter the ship, both legs are in the pincer. Seems a bit risky to try to get another grip in the vacuum of space...

Phoenix

Correction: Not at all. The other arm held Frank securely around the neck so that opening and re-grasping for both Frank's legs would be risk-free.

johnrosa

Corrected entry: When Micah goes into the attic, it is filled with a lot of insulation, yet he comes out from it looking clean as a whistle, none stuck to his clothes or not even so much as an itch or scratch out of him.

paranormal

Correction: As not all insulation is made of fiberglass, there's no reason he must itch nor be covered with it. You don't crawl in the insulation either- you make your way along the edges of the wooden beams that the insulation lies between, otherwise you'd risk crashing through the sheetrock beneath the insulation. And even if Micah were made itchy, in his present mental state, he's likely to not react to it at all since he has more pressing issues to worry about.

johnrosa

Corrected entry: When the guy goes into the attic and finds the picture it is on his left. After they go back into the bedroom they say they found it over the bed, which would have been on the right.

Correction: Not so. When he climbs the ladder, he is facing the hall so that the photo in the attic and the bedroom beneath are both to his left as they should be.

johnrosa

Corrected entry: The first time Dave is shown running around the room on the ship, in the roomwide shot he runs past the three hibernating crew, then the two empty beds. In the following chase shot on his back, he passes them in reverse order.

Phoenix

Correction: The scenes aren't necessarily continuous time, but a collage of shots of his exercise period. He even reverses direction between two of the shots so where the pair of sleeping crew was on his left, they are now on his right.
