Continuity mistake: When Hans Landa first approaches Bridget von Hammersmark in the theater, he is shown to be walking right up to her, as evidenced by the shot of his right foot being shown to be mere inches away from her left leg. When the shot changes to a medium shot of von Hammersmark saying "Colonel Landa, it's been years," Landa is suddenly out of shot, whereas the proximity of his feet to von Hammersmark's suggests he should have been visible in the medium shot. Continuity mistake: Clyde Bruckman commits suicide by placing a plastic bag over his head until he asphyxiates. However, when Mulder and Scully first discover him you can see in the shot just before Scully holds his hands that there is no plastic bag around his head (may only be visible in widescreen format). In the next shot when the chosen one for the Thieves is shown arriving on the scene, the chosen one for the Assassins is suddenly back to standing among the other members of his guild. In the next shot, the chosen one for the Assassins is back to kneeling before the External. (00:06:00)
