Suggested correction: This is simply wrong. If a month starts on a Thursday, the first Tuesday will be the 6th, and the second will be the 13th.

I messed up the wording on this. The calendar in question literally shows the 13th as being the second Tuesday in the calendar grid format (i.e. there is one row indicating a week above). The 13th should be placed in the third row in this manner.

X-Men: Evolution (2000)

Adrift - S2-E6

Factual error: After Alex is dragged underwater by the harness tether, Scott goes swimming after him and easily locates him. Given that they are in the middle of the ocean at nighttime during a heavy rainstorm, and Scott is wearing sunglasses, it would be way too dark below the surface to see anything.

X-Men: Evolution (2000)

Adrift - S2-E6

Factual error: The map of the western United States shown during the weather report at the start of the episode shows some states drawn incorrectly. Idaho's entire western border is a straight line, whereas in real life, Oregon has a horn-shaped indentation on its northeastern border that it shares with Idaho. Idaho also looks like a crude staircase, with the southwestern border of Montana going down to central Wyoming, whereas that area in real life is around the northwestern part of Wyoming.

Common mistakes

Factual error: Films set in or around the middle ages depict horses being the size of modern horses. In actuality, horses during that time period were smaller, closer to modern ponies.

Common mistakes

Factual error: Films depicting criminal trials in American courtrooms frequently show the defendant receiving their sentence right after their guilty verdict is rendered. In real life, people found guilty will have a separate hearing to receive their sentence several weeks later.

Saw VI (2009)

Factual error: The license plate on the back of Jill's car does not specify the state. It only has the number listed and "Fairweather State" written at the bottom. While it's never specified what state the Saw films take place in, every U.S. state and Washington D.C. require vehicles to have a state-issued license plate on the rear of the vehicle, so it can't be a vanity plate. Common mistakes

Factual error: It's a common thing in shows dealing in law enforcement to see a cop kicking open a suspect's door in one try. Doors aren't that easy to break open in real life. This is why cops in the real world use battering rams or a sledgehammer for this purpose. Even a door that is hollow could lead to the cop kicking his foot straight through instead of forcing the door open, and a door with a solid frame is more likely to lead to the cop sustaining an injury.

Blade: Trinity (2004)

Factual error: When Drake is about to go into the Dracula shop, you can see a marquee that says "Hastings, V6B 1H6" indicating it is in Hastings, Vancouver, British Columbia. Later in the scene when he throws the man through the window, the sign next to the window mentions Canada's Labour Party, and also says "Canadian International" on it. The movie was filmed in Vancouver, but is supposed to take place in an unspecified city in the United States, given that the FBI is trying to bring Blade down, plus the chief of police mentioning the vampires are pulling the homeless off the streets of America. A Rogue's Tale - S2-E9

Factual error: At the end of the episode when Carol Danvers is shown comatose, there is an EEG machine next to her bed. This machine monitors brain activity and uses electrodes on the patient's head in doing so. She has no electrodes placed on her head, and the machine isn't detecting activity in her brain. A Rogue's Tale - S2-E9

Factual error: Whenever the comatose Carol Danvers is shown in her hospital bed, she is wearing a pink turtleneck. A coma patient wouldn't be dressed in their own personal clothing. It could obstruct doctors and nurses in an emergency. She would be wearing a hospital gown. (00:09:19 - 00:20:45)

Days of Future Past: Part 2 - S1-E12

Factual error: The U.S. flag has 13 stripes. When Bishop is telling the X-Men how Gambit's betrayal will affect the future, the flag shown flying outside the Capitol building is missing two stripes. In the next shot showing the flag draped over the coffin, it has at least 17 stripes. (00:04:25)

The Armor Wars: Part 1 - S2-E8

Behold, a Distant Star - S2-E10

Factual error: After Super Skrull falls off the top of the Empire State Building, the slap of asphalt that the Fantastic Four were trapped on tips over, resulting in it and the heroes to fall to the ground as well. Reed uses his stretching powers to catch Super Skrull and then transform his body into a parachute in order to safely land, and Johnny uses his flight powers to hold onto Sue and Thing and slowly descend to the ground. Despite all this, the slab of asphalt doesn't crash to the ground until after everyone has landed safely, when it should have hit the ground long before they all landed. (00:11:57)
