Coherence (2013)

Continuity mistake: A few minutes after Lee puts a bandage on Hugh's forehead, it disappears completely in one shot (as does the cut it was covering), before reappearing a moment later, but in a different position.

Wayward Pines (2015)

Our Town, Our Law - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: When Theresa and Ben walk down the road leaving town, and run into the woods from the Sheriff, Theresa's roller suitcase falls over on its 'back'. A minute later, when Ethan catches up to them, the suitcase is on its 'front'.

Under the Dome (2013)

Under the Dome mistake picture

The Red Door - S2-E9

Continuity mistake: When Big Jim communicates to the military commander at the dome, he writes on his notepad, and shows "Me and my son" to the commander; yet when he returns to his car and looks at it again, it's written quite differently.

The Listener (2009)

Lady in the Lake - S2-E1

Continuity mistake: The assassin is running across the square with the poisonous needle in his left hand in several shots. But moments later, when tackled to the ground, it is pressured from his closed right hand.

The Strain (2014)

Runaways - S1-E5

Continuity mistake: Fet is in the sewer looking for rats and encounters a group of infected. He is holding a handkerchief to his face with his left hand to mask the smell. He has his flashlight in his right hand, and pulls out an iron bar with his left. As the camera angle changes, his left hand is again covering his mouth with the handkerchief (no iron bar), then the angle changes again, and he's holding the iron bar again.

Psych (2006)

Remake A.K.A. Cloudy... With a Chance of Improvement - S8-E3

Trivia: Ralph Macchio features as a prosecuting attorney. At one point, Gus speaks a quote from "My Cousin Vinny", and the other attorney calls it "a terrific film." Macchio objects, saying "it's OK... Decent at best." Macchio featured in that movie.

Haven (2010)

The Trouble with Troubles - S4-E10

Continuity mistake: When Nathan answers his phone while checking the murder victim with Duke, he has it in his left hand. The camera angle changes and it's now in his right hand.

Haven (2010)

Crush - S4-E8

Continuity mistake: When the female cop tries to arrest Driscoll in the park, his Trouble kicks in and air pressure kills her. As it starts, we see blood flowing from her left ear, then it's gone, then it's there again, as the camera angle changes.

Haven (2010)

Crush - S4-E8

Continuity mistake: When Dave and Vince arrive at the scene of the first Trouble, Dave is talking to Duke, and the camera changes from in front of Dave to just behind him. Dave wears glasses and in the front shot he has them on, but in the rear shot, they're missing.

Haven (2010)

Survivors - S4-E2

Continuity mistake: When the taxi stops to pick up the woman, it stops with its hood in front of the door of the building beside it. She gets in and finds the driver dead, and jumps out. When the police are checking it, it has moved a full car length forward. The driver put it in park when he stopped, so it didn't roll forward.

Haven (2010)

Stay - S3-E2

Other mistake: Duke is checking old copies of the Haven Herald around the time of Lucy (27 years ago). A headline on the one he's reading is about Lucy's disappearance. A moment later, he's reading a story about a meteor shower that occurs every 27 years; but the text we can see states that it just happened, and refers to dates in 2010 (having just happened, not '27 years from now'). This paper is supposed to be a 1983 edition. Also there is fake Latin 'filler text' printed in some columns.

Audrey Parker's Day Off - S2-E6

Factual error: When Audrey turns on the car radio to listen to the baseball game score, the LCD display turns to the time.  When she turns it off, it shows the tuner. This is the opposite of how car radios function - the sound editor must have been dubbing in the sound, and missed this).

29th Dec 2013

General questions

Factual error: When the 2nd Audrey Parker flashes her FBI badge, it reads "Department of Investigation: FBI."

Day Break (2006)

What If They Run? - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: After running the roadblock and getting shot in the shoulder, we see Hopper's shirt with a bloody patch about 3" x 2." The camera angle changes and it is now several times larger, positioned differently and oddly-shaped (a bleeding wound would simply expand the stain on the shirt; it would not 'move').

Day Break (2006)

What If They Run? - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: When the bad guys create a roadblock with their 2 cars as Hopper drives his girlfriend to her mother's house, the cars stop with one on one side of the yellow line, and the other stops with the steering wheel over the line. The camera angle changes, and now both cars are neatly, evenly positioned, with their engines sitting over the line.

The Flash (1990)

Pilot - S1-E1

Trivia: When Barry is checking the results of his tests in the police lab, he turns to the computer to view the screen. The camera changes to see the screen, and for just a moment (just a few frames) we see what was on the screen before his results - a couple of stolen car reports, one of which is that of "Joliet Jake Blues" (from the Blues Brothers movie). And yes, the car and licence are the same as in the movie. I don't know what the connection is; I assume someone on the crew loved that movie.

The Lost Reindeer - S14-E11

Character mistake: When Russell is reading the bio for the suspect who had dressed as a reindeer at the party and was looking for her contact lens, the bottom of the page lists "Identification Databases Checked:" and lists several states and 5 cities under each one. Alabama and Colorado have the same 5 (Alabama) cities listed. Also, the form lists several pieces of information - Class, DOB, Height, Weight, Eyes, Eyes, Hair, Restrictions, Contact Lens Serial No and Criminal History and Occupation. (Yes, "Eyes" is there twice.) The first "Eyes" field lists a name (emergency contact?), which illustrates how badly the prop department prepared this form. Lastly, despite the suspect's DOB being 04.12.1987 (either April 12 or December 4), and this episode taking place in December 2013, Russell states that she is 23 (but should be 26).

11th Nov 2013

JFK (1991)

Character mistake: When Garrison is leaving the house to question Clay Shaw on Easter Sunday, his wife is complaining about his working on the Sunday, and at one point calls Garrison 'Clay'.

Psych (2006)

Extradition: British Columbia - S4-E1

Character mistake: When Shawn is checking Ed's book of valuables, the crown that Shawn thinks Despereaux will steal, has a listed value of "950,000 - 1,000,00,000 USD." I guess it's really, really(!) valuable, enough that a whole new numbering system was made up for it.

Frame by Frame - S14-E5

Factual error: Throughout the episode, people refer to the previous murder as occurring 14 years ago. That puts it in 1999, yet we know it was in 2000, thanks to photos and other evidence.

The Terminator (1984)

Continuity mistake: In Tech Noir, as the Terminator starts firing the Uzi at Reese, a guy in a dress shirt and tie gets shot as Reese uses him for cover. He reacts to getting hit, the camera angle changes, and he reacts again.

17th Oct 2013

Man on a Ledge (2012)

Continuity mistake: When Joey and Angie enter the rooftop of the building across from the hotel, he stops a vent fan, and bends a blade back so they can get through it. The blade is positioned at about 30° from horizontal, pointing up. Yet in consecutive shots, watching them go through it, it changes position to pointing about 20° down, then back again.

Psych (2006)

Six Feet Under the Sea - S3-E10

Continuity mistake: As Shawn's dad is showing him how to drive the boat, he is alternately leaning against the railing with his arm outstretched, and with his arm at his side, depending on the camera angle.

Psych (2006)

Six Feet Under the Sea - S3-E10

Continuity mistake: When Shawn and Gus are driving the boat at night, we see the coordinates on the GPS tracker - two seconds later (real time, as they are talking), the coordinates have changed; now they are about 37 miles from where they were, so they must have hit 65,000 mph for those 2 seconds. In case my math needs correcting, the first set is 34 06' 50.25" N x 120 17' 41.31" W and the second set is 33 57' 40.21" N x 119 35' 56.58" W.

Gus Walks Into a Bank - S3-E8

Trivia: Alan Ruck, who plays the bank robber, is (arguably) best known for his role in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, where his character's name is Cameron. In this episode, Ruck plays a bank robber who takes hostages, including Gus. The SWAT commander that attends the bank robbery (a character who hasn't existed before) is named Cameron. Possibly a deliberate choice given Psych's frequent pop culture references. ADDITIONAL: Series 8, Episode 3 - Ruck co-stars as a news weatherman; when Shawn introduces himself, he says .".and this is Gus, my black Cameron" - a much more clear reference to the Ferris Bueller character.

The Transporter (2002)

Other mistake: When Frank's car is blown up as he returns from delivering Lai, he is blown off his feet by the blast, and is standing about 50 feet away from it. Yet the plastic table and chairs, just in front of the car, are blown straight up, not away from it.

2nd Oct 2013

The Transporter (2002)

Trivia: The BMW used in the film was an E38 735i, according to the BMW Wiki page. In the DVD commentary, Statham tells us it was a custom-built, manual transmission (when the production cars are automatics), and therefore one-of-a-kind.

Revealing mistake: When Snake and the others are running across the 69th Street bridge after the taxi is destroyed, Brain runs to his left, insisting that's the safe path. He gets blown up by a mine. We can see the bright lights of the FX spread out in front of him; the mine is exploding before he actually steps on it.

Continuity mistake: When Snake enters the Duke's railcar to find the President, he throws a knife at a guard's forehead. As the camera comes to the knife hitting him, we see a blood trail already on his face from that wound, before he could start bleeding.

24th Sep 2013

Escape From L.A. (1996)

Continuity mistake: Snake jumps off the surf and into the car with Eddie. They fight as the car drives down an alley. There is an old man in front of them at one point, who steps out of the way of the car. They continue driving perhaps a block and stop. They speak for a moment, then Snake continues driving, past the same old man, and past some of the same parts of the alley they just passed.
