Bones (2005)

The Knight on the Grid - S3-E8

Continuity mistake: When Bones is dragged from the taxi after the explosion, she finds a tooth lodged in her arm (from bomb shrapnel). But she was pulled down for safety by Booth just before it went off, and was not exposed to the shrapnel - she was protected by the car door, and nothing was in a direct line to her. Added to that is the fact that her LEFT arm was hit - the arm that would have been on the 'inside/centre' of the front seat (the bomb went off on the right side of the car), and on which she was most likely lying - completely protecting that part of her body. Bones (2005)

Soccer Mom in the Mini-Van - S3-E2

Other mistake: When Hodgins runs up to the platform near the end, to discuss the debris of the watch, the security card reader goes off (as if someone were swiping their card). But there's nobody near it, and we see Hodgins step up the centre of the stairs, nowhere near the machine. About 30 seconds later, Angela comes up as well, but we hear the reader beep, and within a second or so, she's already well up on the platform, much further than possible based on her casual walking speed coming into the scene. Continuity mistake: When Ellie & Fiona are breaking into the garage to steal the gas tanker truck, Fiona's hands are by her side. The camera angle changes, and her right hand is up, holding her rifle strap.

Factual error: The Secret Service has more than 3,000 Special Agents across multiple government organizations. Other than those who work the White House and Presidential Detail, it is highly unlikely that others would have any White House access, much less current security codes, as Mike does. Agents would not have passwords to the President's laptop - but Mike is able to log in and delete all the classified data on it.

Bones (2005)

Show generally

Continuity mistake: The person responsible for background shots while anyone is in a car driving, is grossly negligent in their continuity. Very rarely do Bones & Booth drive down a street without the background changing rapidly from urban to rural streets, and back. In a Season 1 episode, they're driving through a flat desert, with nothing in the background except scrub - and then suddenly, a mountain appears in the middle of the shot.

Bones (2005)

The Man in the Wall - S1-E7

Factual error: When Angela is running her computer model of the victims' chase behind the wall in the club, she says it "got tight in there - 15 centimetres." 15cm is 6 inches. It isn't possible that a grown adult could pass through a path that narrow - it would have to be at least twice that, just to breathe in & out. (00:24:50)

Bones (2005)

A Boy In A Bush - S1-E6

Factual error: When the gang is reviewing mall security footage to find the kids, Angela says her maximum resolution is 640x480 pixels 'per square inch'. Digital resolution is not defined per inch - it's defined by the entire image. Secondly; moments later, she refers to having another angle of the scene - but the camera shows the very same shot as was just seen. (00:14:40)

Bones (2005)

The Man in the Bear - S1-E5

Factual error: When Bones is doing the autopsy on the cannibal victims, she dictates her findings into a tape recorder. She refers to a 'low calibre' gun, rather than the correct 'small calibre' reference. Someone who deals with victims frequently, and who is so specific & detailed, would be well aware of the proper references for such things. (00:32:00)

Episode #1.3 - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: When Leo's son throws his watch against the wall, it breaks into several pieces, which bounce off a surface just below the camera frame (it's an odd look, but could be a table or the floor, as we don't see where on the wall the watch impacted) - then they fly off to the right. But in the next shot, most of the watch's pieces are falling to the floor, directly down, and in a group (the prop man simply held out his hand and dropped them into frame). (00:37:40)

The Box (2009)

Continuity mistake: When the kid & babysitter go down to the basement, she enters the stairs first. The shot changes, and now the boy is in front of her. (00:46:00)

Continuity mistake: When Kwon is first shot, he's hit in the left shoulder, near the clavicle. When Bobo's daughter is cleaning his wound, it's not clear exactly where the wound is, but later, the bandage is over his left pectoral, several inches lower than where the bullet hit him.

Sliders (1995)

Common Ground - S4-E3

Continuity mistake: When the Kromagg sub-commander captures Quinn in the kitchen area, Quinn is leaning back, away from the knife. The sub-commander is a good 8-12 inches shorter than Quinn. The camera angle changes, and now the sub-commander is about 6 inches taller than Quinn.

Sliders (1995)

Prophets And Loss - S4-E2

Continuity mistake: When the Sliders see their first bunch of Welcomers get zapped, there is a short blonde woman in that group. We know later in the episode that these people are being burned to ashes; so she is now dead. In the final scene of the episode, that woman is in the audience.

NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service mistake picture

You Better Watch Out - S10-E10

Continuity mistake: When Tony's dad arrives at the NCIS office for Christmas, he is met at the elevator by Ziva. He is holding a Christmas present (which looks like a bouquet of flowers) with the 'red' end up. As the camera angle changes, he is now holding it 'red' side down. (00:28:25)

Playing with Fire - S9-E22

Continuity mistake: When Tony & Ziva meet their contact in Naples, we see a local cop walking down the background behind them, and passing a walkway to the boat. Seconds later, as the camera changes view, we see that cop about 30 feet back, going the same way.

Game of Death (1978)

Other mistake: When the bad guys are taking the cash from the vault, they finish with just 3 duffel bags. Yet there are blocks of cash along all the walls, roughly 25 times as big as what they're taking. With the duffel bags supposedly containing $100 million, there would be tens of billions of dollars for the taking. Their escape route is up the elevator to the roof, and into a helicopter. What bad guys wouldn't take all they could carry?

Game of Death (1978)

Continuity mistake: When Wesley arrives at Redvale, he goes down into the vault area. When he turns the corner (just a few feet down from the lobby), he sees the bodies of the slain guards on the floor. The vault area is not cordoned off, not closed to the public, and wide open to view by anyone stepping just a few steps down the stairs. Yet there is nobody anywhere to be seen - despite this being the middle of a workday, and the lobby being busy with people just a few minutes before.

Game of Death (1978)

Other mistake: Like many movies, the security guard at the front desk of Redvale appears to have intimate knowledge of the CEO's personal calendar, and can verify their appointments - such as the bad guys when they show up. Not impossible, but very very unlikely.
