The Garage Sale - S2-E23

Corrected entry: While Debra and Marie are outside of The Garage Sale the wind is blowing quite strongly and blows Debra's hair all over the place in a big way. However, Marie's hair does not move at all, not even as a total unit, say if she had on a lot of hairspray or had been permed. The significant amount of wind would have caused some movement, no question. This suggests the fan was only pointed or primarily pointed in the direction of Debra.

OneHappyHusky

Correction: Marie's hairstyle is attained by using a pic to lift and shape it and then sprayings lots and lots and lots of hairspray to hold it. That hair does not move - ever. It only gets smooshed when you sleep on it. My mother's hair was the same way. Breezy days don't affect it.

Batman Forever (1995)

Corrected entry: When Two-Face parachutes out of the helicopter he primarily keeps his back away from the camera - as he jumps you can see he is not wearing a parachute, but he obviously has one just seconds later. (00:11:25)

OneHappyHusky

Correction: Look at where the straps are coming from, thy are under his jacket, the parachute was concealed.

Dracula 2000 (2000)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Dracula and Mary first meet face to face Dracula has a bruise on his cheek. In none of his previous scenes was he seen taking a blow to his cheek, and even if he had, it would have certainly healed considering he had been shot three times mere moments before and those wounds have already healed.

OneHappyHusky

Correction: It isn't a bruise on his cheek, it's a burn from daylight; earlier in the scene, the thief shot a hole in the plane causing daylight to pour through and it burns his cheek. It is safe to assume that an injury caused by his weakness take longer to heal.

Stripes (1981)

Corrected entry: Throughout the movie ALL the characters salute completely improperly. As a comedy this is not unexpected, however, in this movie the high ranking officers are depicted correctly and accurately within military decorum, yet they also salute totally inappropriately. Specifically, at the end of the salute your arm is dropped straight down to your side at the attention position immediately, which they fail to do. This is a mistake regardless of this being a comedy, drama or any other genre.

OneHappyHusky

Correction: The fact is this: Bad salutes are a part of everyday life in the military. No matter what someone should know, no matter what someone should do, sloppy salutes happen.

Flightplan (2005)

Corrected entry: At the very beginning a French Agent wipes a significant amount of snow from a bench so Jodie Foster can sit. However, in the next shot, which shows Jodie and the bench from above there is no indication what-so-ever that any snow was indeed wiped. No extra accumulation or disturbance in the snow around the bench. (00:01:40)

OneHappyHusky

Correction: That isn't a French Agent but Kyle's husband David. Jodie Foster is only imagining that he really is there. (Later in the movie she says to the shrink that after the morgue she was walking arround the city together with her husband). So when David wipes off the snow from the bench that is only in her imagination. After the scene in the morgue when whe see Kyle standing alone in the park - back to reality - the snow on the bench should be there, as well we're only supposed to see her footsteps in the snow.

Batman (1989)

Corrected entry: Right after the Joker falls from the cathedral the shot slowly zooms to him lying dead on the ground below, with the laugh box giggling away. Watch his left eye closely and you can see it blink, despite his being "dead". (00:01:55)

OneHappyHusky

Correction: Involuntary twitches are common in the recently dead, especially if the death was caused suddenly. The blinking eye could have been nothing more than a final twitch as the brain shuts down. For a cinematic reference, look at The Rock, when a body is twitching after being killed, freaking out Nic Cage. It's not often portrayed, but does happen.

Way To Go - S6-E25

Corrected entry: The season finale, the opening shows Jim Brass being wheeled in to the ER. He is intubated but no one is compressing the bag to facilitate his breathing, he would die without this action.

OneHappyHusky

Correction: It's in slow motion. However, you can see the attendant on Brass's left squeeze the bag just before the scene cuts out.

High Tension (2003)

Corrected entry: This movie is French (dubbed over in English), and takes place in France, yet Marie talks about all the local "rednecks" and "hippies". Not in France.

OneHappyHusky

Correction: Perhaps there is no appropriate English word to translate what was actually said in French. "Redneck" and "hippie" just have the closest approximate meaning in English. After all, when we say "redneck" we mean a special kind of ignorance, simple-mindedness, and lifestyle. The words "red" and "neck" have nothing to do with that.

Phixius

Correction: Buquet is attacked from behind - the natural reflex will be to roll over to try to defend himself, which doesn't take long to do and isn't hard. The shot of the Phantom between the two of Buquet gave him enough time to do that.

Dear Frankie (2004)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Frankie takes Ricky's photo at the soccer practice the camera's flash activates despite the fact the sun is bright enough to cast shadows and cause the cast to squint throughout most of the scene. (00:52:10)

OneHappyHusky

Correction: This is not out of the question. the flash on my camera comes on automatically regardless of the amount of light. In bright weather I have to manually switch it off, which Frankie might not have done.
