Continuity mistake: When Morris is on the bed following his shock there are three point of view (POV) shots. Morris on the bed, Morris's POV of the medical staff hovering over him and a shot from behind the staff looking down on Morris. The placement of characters is misaligned between views, most notably when the shot is from behind the staff looking down: there is a sizable gap between the two on the left and right, where as from Morris's POV they are clustered close together with no gaps between the staff members.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Jack is making call after call to the other coaches he is seen wearing just a shirt. During one call you can see the sleeve of a jacket, however, in the next full shot of Jack it is gone.

Continuity mistake: The size of the Spartan's shield changes from the action battle sequences (smaller) to the scenes where they are more stationary, as well as, during the arrow attack (larger), presumably allowing greater mobility while fighting. This was confirmed in the Director's Commentary.

Continuity mistake: At the Unicorn Bar Evie takes a photo of "Drumstrings" Casey performing as Faye-Jean dances in front of him. Both Drumstrings and Faye-Jean are facing Evie with Faye-Jean holding a beer bottle over her head in her left arm. Later when Evie looks at the photo, it has been taken from the side and Faye-Jean is facing a different direction, no arms above her head and is not holding a beer.

Continuity mistake: In the opening scene with Russell Crowe and his character's two sons, note the youngest boy's bangs. In the first take they are centered in a clump in the middle of his forehead, the scene cuts to Russell Crowe briefly and when it comes back on the boy, his bangs are all spaced out with gaps across his forehead. Continuity mistake: When Mary Jane and Skank are having sex they knock over a number of items on the stove, including a large bottle of red sauce. However, that bottle was not on the shelf or anywhere near the stove in the preceding shot that panned the stove area. (00:13:30)

Continuity mistake: When Marla's mother enters her bedroom to see why Marla is so upset, note the blue, yellow and white plaid blanket on the chair by the radio. In the first show it is hanging uneven with a portion folded back over, they cut to Marla for just a few seconds and when they cut back to the blanket it had changed and is now folded perfectly on the chair. Continuity mistake: When Johnny comes into the Mayor's Office to meet about his place in the Saturday Game, when he sits down there is a large black paper clamp/clip on the desk lying flat, but in the very next shot it is standing on it's side. The Mayor has had his hands folded through the scene and could not have moved it. (00:14:40)

Continuity mistake: During the scene where John and Donna are on the pond discussing the decision to build boards around the pond for sponsorship, it is snowing noticeably much harder when the camera is on John compared to when it is on Donna, where the snow is barely visible. (00:52:00)

Continuity mistake: When Valerie hides from Dracula in the TV van the blood trail from the wound on her neck changes dramatically between shots. It goes from being a single trail of blood, to a two prong trail, to a long single trail, to a shorter fat trail, back to a longer trail, etc. (00:36:15)

Continuity mistake: When Mary turns on the lightswitch in Lucy's room and shorts out all the lights note the phone that is off the hook at the foot of the bed. The receiver is far enough away from the base that the cord is extended in a "U" shape, however, when the shot moves to close up on the phone the receiver is now close to the base and the cord is now twisted on itself. Continuity mistake: When Mary discovers her father's body under Lucy's bed he has a new wound above his right eye, but the much larger wound he received earlier in the evening fighting Solina and Trick is now missing. (01:06:55)

Continuity mistake: Mary's hairstyle changes dramatically from when she first meets Simon inside the Virgin Megastore to when they move to a more private place to speak on the Loading Dock in the next scene. It goes from very styled and curled to a much looser and messy style. (00:58:45)

Continuity mistake: When Nightshade cuts his thumb on the coffin he sucks the blood off, sits down then shakes his fist in anger splattering some on the coffin. The amount shown in the next shot, being "consumed" by the coffin is completely out of proportion to what could have splattered from that cut if it was 10 times as severe. (00:21:00)

Continuity mistake: When Carfax Antiques is first broken into and the security guards are overtaken, note when Marcus throws the glass ball at the second guard. The glass breaks on the guard's face and then falls to the left of the desk into tiny shards and immediately to the ground, yet in the next shot there is massive amounts of glass and in huge pieces on the desk. Continuity mistake: When Marcus brings his hand off the fingerprint scanner you can see he is wearing a film allowing him to use someone else's fingerprints. However, note the tip of this index finger, the print is peeled back nearly to the first knuckle and the scan would have certainly failed. (00:08:00)

Continuity mistake: When Josh and Mr. MacMillan first meet in the toy store Josh's collar is up. Mr. MacMillan says, "Come On." They walk around a corner and Josh's collar is now turned down. (00:37:35)

Continuity mistake: When Josh and Billy are in the equipment room note the orange and blue pads on the middle shelf. The blue pads change, their white strap goes being tucked up to hanging down then they disappear completely and reappear between shots. (00:16:35)

Continuity mistake: In the Pizza Place when they bring out Josh's birthday cake note the amount of soft drink in Billy's glass. The amount drops significantly from when they approach with the cake to the close up of the cake on the table where the glass is nearly empty. (01:06:45)

Continuity mistake: When the shot first enters the bedroom the morning Josh becomes big note the yellow truck at the foot of his bed, it is away from the lower left corner and facing out. When Josh jumps down from the top bunk it is flush with the bunk and facing the other (right) foot of the bed and remains in this position for all remaining shots of the bedroom. (00:10:50)
