Chanteuse66

Corrected entry: Vermin tells his sidekick that he plans to kill Tommy Kelly at the exact moment that Cagney is killed in the movie. But there's no way for him to have known anything about what happened in the movie, because no one had even seen it yet. Even though the specific movie is never named, the radio announcement Vermin had listened to the previous day clearly states that DA Kelly and the governer would be attending the premiere of Cagney's new movie.

Chanteuse66

Correction: First, there's no evidence the movie was never seen by anyone. It was merely premiere night. Vermin was already disguised as a theater worker before telling the sidekick his plan, so it's plausible he did at least see part of it to plan his attack.

Liar Liar (1997)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Fletcher is sitting outside the courthouse (court is in recess following Fletcher's self-battery), Samantha and her lover approach him to discuss their testimony. They agree that Fletcher will "walk them through the tape" and that they will give the explanation that he came up with. Problem is, Fletcher had never heard the tape before that day (or he would have known how it could be proved that the voice on the tape wasn't Cole himself). That being the case, he wouldn't have had the time to come up with a rationale for the tape, and even if he had, he couldn't have proposed any lies for them to tell. (Also, I'm not sure, but aren't the rules of discovery being violated, since Fletcher was apparently unaware of the contents of the tape and it was not being used for witness rebuttal?).

Chanteuse66

Correction: Firstly there was nothing to indicate Fletcher hadn't heard the tape. If you have a read of the script you will see he never admits to not hearing the tape. Secondly Fletcher was having a hard time keeping quiet so his outbursts were more out of frustration, as he says for his reason for objection "Because it's devastating to my case". That just means it was a damning piece of evidence, not that it hadn't been heard. Remember he couldn't lie so he would know that if he hadn't heard it he would likely make the court aware of it and that it would be inadmissible. Thirdly Fletcher never talked about his strategy of the case, only that they were going to lie. As pointed out he never admitted to not hearing the tape so being that he couldn't get through with his line of questioning because it contained lies, means that he more than likely wrote the questions and answers the day(s) before and knew about the tape.

Son in Law (1993)

Corrected entry: When Theo takes Crawl out to "show him the ropes," he pushes Crawl into a manure pile. Crawl's hat falls off, and Theo hurls a pitchfork into the manure, piercing the hat. Later, there's no trace of the hole in the hat.

Chanteuse66

Correction: The pitchfork does not pierce Crawl's hat, it just pushes it down into the pile.

Groundhog Day (1993)

Corrected entry: At the end, in the bar, we see Larry trying to impress Nancy, who makes an obvious effort to get away from him by declining an invitation to see the inside of his van, saying she's going in to the party. He starts to follow when Rita comes up and he stops to talk to her. Instead of using this opportunity to escape, Nancy comes back to stand beside Larry. This makes no sense at all, except as a way to tell Rita that Phil was already inside at the party.

Chanteuse66

Correction: Larry says that he will go with her before she has left, then as she is walking you even see her look back to see if he is coming. And as soon as Rita comes up and he stops, she stops and turns around. She might not like him but being nice is not necessarily a mistake.
