Continuity mistake: In the London Underground station, Silva walks down a flight of stairs. On the left side of the stairs are two men. In the next shot, it's only one (totally different) man.

Audio problem: At the casino bar, Bond is talking to Severine. The camera angle switches behind Bond and he says "I'm guessing he was your way out" but his mouth doesn't move. The angle switches to facing Bond and you can see the side of his face move on his next line.

New this month Continuity mistake: Bond and Silva are in a train with a number beginning in 96 and ending in 69 (96269, 96469 etc) However, near the end of this scene, the carriages have now become 96424 and 96224.

M's house in this film is the former home of James Bond composer John Barry.

The title song "Skyfall" was the first James Bond theme to win the Academy Award for Best Original Song, and was the first to earn an Oscar nomination since the song for 1981's "For Your Eyes Only".

New this month On the island, Silva pours a drink and says '50 years old.' Skyfall was released 50 years after Dr. No, the first Bond movie.
