Deliberate mistake: A lot of the supposed handheld footage from bystanders on the scene couldn't have been filmed as such. People are on the ground, but the handheld footage is close to the action, as if the bystander is right there next to the action. This is a common mistake in a lot of movies.
Deliberate mistake: When the procession gets ambushed in the street by the guy with the automatic weapon, he shoots at the police cars. There are no drivers in the cars.
Revealing mistake: In the playing card target shooting sequence, Colin Farrell shoots an ace from the front but the card explodes from the rear. A squib was used to make the hole in the card, blowing the pieces outward instead of inward.
Gamble: So this is what it's come down to, bustin' down doors with J-Lo?
Trivia: When Box is watching TV and is beeped to go to work, he is actually watching an episode of the original S.W.A.T. TV series.
