Continuity mistake: In the lorry chase scene Franks is followed by three black Mercedes S-classes. When he drops his parachute, we can see it falling on an S-class with alloy wheels. After the car crashes a Mercedes C-class with steel wheels can be seen in the explosion. (01:19:10)

Factual error: The 40' container had a railing and a ladder welded onto it for the movie. With a ladder on its side, it cannot be stacked next to another container on a ship or yard, so couldn't have been shipped to or from anywhere. (01:22:40)

Other mistake: In the end credits we see 'Newcaster' when it should read 'Newscaster'. (01:27:25)

Continuity mistake: When oil covered Frank breaks off the bike pedals, the pedal straps are thin and non-adjustable. As he slips his boots into them in the close-up, it has a wider adjustable clasp strap.

Super Grover

Continuity mistake: When the Transporter jumps from the plane to the truck, the plane is a few feet above the truck. When he jumps it cuts to a shot form inside the plane, but you can see that they are now really high in the air. A split second later they are back to a few feet above the truck.

Plot hole: At the end of the film watch the people being released from the container very carefully. Despite being in the container for days on end, not one shields their eyes when exposed to natural sunlight. It would take several minutes for their eyes to readjust.

Character mistake: At the end of film when the Chinese refugees are being unloaded from the lorry a policeman helps an injured man off, then goes back to help others. The injured man sits and then lies down. As he does, the policeman that helped him throws a bag without looking, which hits the injured man.

Continuity mistake: When Lai is talking to Frank and crying you see a close up of her face and her cheeks are very wet. They have a reaction shot of Frank and when the camera goes back to Lai her face is completely dry.

Continuity mistake: When the bank robbers shoot one of themselves, the blood splatters onto the back window. During the straight after that car chase the blood appears and dissapears from the back window.

Continuity mistake: At the bus station, Jason Statham tips over a barrel of oil. You can see that the man who first slips on the oil has already got the oil all over his jacket before it could even have touched him.

Continuity mistake: In the bank robbery getaway scene at the start of the film, the Transporter tells the robbers to put their seat belts on, yet throughout the chase you can see them dissapear and reappear.

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the film, Frank is visited by the police inspector. He has a visible though muted scab on his right temple. It was not there before this scene, and goes away afterward. The scenes were shot out of sequence. Later in the film during the fight on the bus/depot, he gets hit at the right temple and blood is drawn. Normally the blood would seem to just be there for effect, but due to the scab shown earlier in the film, he must have really been hit pretty good.

Continuity mistake: When the Transporter gets pistol whipped, he gets a big bump on his head. In the next scene in the jail cell, the position of it goes from the left, to the right, then back again.

Continuity mistake: During the first chase, when Frank is trapped between the police cars and garbage truck he screeches his tires for a long time. When he is flying off the bridge about to land on the car carrier transport, you see the rubber on his upper and lower left tires are completely gone, but when Frank lands all tires are good as new.

Continuity mistake: When Frank and Lai leave the police station, Lai jumps into the taxi, and as Frank walks up to it a man with long hair wearing a brown top is walking behind him, yet when Frank reaches the taxi, the man disappears.

Factual error: To start his first mission, Frank has an alarm set on his watch. The watch he is wearing is an Officine Panerai. This brand makes only mechanical watches. But what is heard going off is an alarm on a quartz watch. (The only Panerai with a mechanical alarm looks completely different.)

Plot hole: Inspector Tarconi visits Frank with suspicions, leaves, and only about 30 seconds later a rocket hits Frank's house with associated gunfire and more explosions. Tarconi can barely have made it to the end of the road, but somehow doesn't hear any of this going on.

Factual error: When Frank and the dead thug are underwater, with the bad guys firing at them after the oil-fight, if you look, you can see that the bullets from the guns are shooting straight down through the water. Most modern guns (including the ones the bad guys are using) are so powerful, that the bullets shatter upon hitting water, so the bullets we see whizzing about underwater are not real.

Factual error: When Frank dives off the container and goes feet first into the lorry cab his body isn't long enough to do this as he is holding the grab handles on the front of the container, even if he let go he couldn't make it his feet would just reach then he would fall backwards into the road. The lorry cab is too big to achieve this.

Wall Street: You can't get anything done in a world without rules.

Question: Frank is fighting a lot of bad men in oil, so everything is slippery. My question is: What are the things Frank puts on the front of his feet, to fight the slippery oil, they are like half-rollerskates?

Chosen answer: You notice that Frank removes those items from a bicycle frame. Those are stirrup-style rat trap bicycle pedals. They have serrated metallic edges which supposedly give Frank traction on the concrete floor, despite the oily mess.
