Beethoven is seen removing the dedication to Napoleon from the title page of "Eroica" at the same time as the siege of Vienna. The dedication was removed several years before, when Napoleon declared himself Emperor of France. [The filmmakers do not claim this film to be historically accurate. It contains many historical inaccuracies and takes liberties regarding people and events. As such, it comes down a deliberate directorial decision and artistic license.]
