Continuity: When Joseph stumbles onto the road, Burt brakes to a halt, and swerves. As he swerves, there are tyre tracks on the road, in front of the car, from a previous take. Additionally, the tracks change and (dis)appear.

Continuity: When Burt gets out of the car to go check Joseph's dead body on the road, as he rolls Joseph's body over onto his back, the position of his arm, and the amount of blood on the road changes between shots.

Continuity: As Vicky and Burt are driving along the country roads, in some of the exterior shots of the car, telegraph poles are visible, running along the roadside. But then when it cuts to interior shots, the telegraph poles have vanished.

Continuity: When Vicky and Burt enter the bedroom which Job and Sarah are in, there is a small white clock on the bedside table behind Sarah. Between shots in the scene, the position of the clock changes.

Continuity: When Burt and Vicky are driving around and end up at the gas station, the sun is near sunset. But a few scenes later on, the sun is high like it's late morning, even though it takes place later on in the same day.

Audio problem: When Sarah's mother is on the phone with her husband, she says, "I'm worried Dave, the fever's gone from 101 to 104," yet her mouth doesn't move.

Continuity: When Malachi and some other children are trying to take Vicky from the bedroom, someone hacks a bit of the door out with an axe, but in the next shot that par of the doort is suddenly back intact again.

Continuity: When Burt, Vicky, Job and Sarah arrive back to the corn-trashed car at the end of the movie, the corn stuffed inside the front of the car is no higher than the open bonnet, yet in the next shot corn is sticking out, up higher than the open bonnet.
