Rank Film Mistake
1 Dune
There is a scene in which Piter DeVries is talking about the Landsraad (one of the governmental organizations in Dune). Twice he mispronounces the name, saying "Lansdraad" instead.
2 Ghostbusters
There's a scene where Dana's building is falling apart and stones and stuff are falling to the street below. One of the huge boulders bounces off a wooden police barricade in the bottom left hand corner of the screen.
3 Sixteen Candles
When the family is getting into the car to go to the wedding one grandmother says to the other "let me in". The grandmother gets out to let the other grandmother in but the first grandmother never gets back in the car, she just pretends to. You can see her hiding behind the cars as it backs down the drive. Both grandmothers are in the car when they see Long Duk Dong on the lawn.
4 The Terminator
When The Terminator's stolen police car is shown up close in the parking structure, the motto on the left side of it reads "to care and to protect." After the car crashes, you can see the motto on the left side again, but this time it reads "Dedicated to serve."
5 The Natural
When he hits the ball off the clock, everyone leaves the park after his home run. Why should they? Roy Hobbs' team is the visiting team, so the Chicago Cubs still have their turn at bat in the bottom of the ninth.
6 The Muppets Take Manhattan
In the scene just before Miss Piggy and Eileen get fired from the department store, Miss Piggy is watching Kermit and Jenny hug. She then bends a metal pole in half and starts hitting a barrel with it. When she first starts hitting it, the pole she is hitting it with is very thick(much thicker than the one she bent in half), is a different colour and not bent in any way. In the next shot the pole is thinner, longer and looks like the one she originally had, but it is only bent at the top whereas Miss Piggy bent it in the middle. In the next shot of her after that, the pole is now thicker (but not as thick as the first one), is not bent and the colour has changed again. Also if you look around the area where Miss Piggy is, there is only one type of pole lying around, so where did the other two come from?
7 Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
When Shorty falls through the bridge, a large hole is made. Later on, the hole disappears.
8 V: The Final Battle
When the world is celebrating the defeat of the visitors, it's daytime all over the planet.
9 Purple Rain
Prince concentrates on the chalk mark of his father's suicide attempt in the basement just before he flips out. Funny, but I thought they only made chalk outlines for people who actually died.
10 Beverly Hills Cop
When Eddie Murphy is getting the bananas from the waiter in the hotel, the bananas he gets are straight. When he places the bananas in the tailpipe of the detectives' car, they are curved.
11 The Pope of Greenwich Village
When Mickey Rourke visits Darryl Hannah while she's instructing at the aerobics studio and pulls her away, Darryl puts another girl in charge who begins barking orders to the class. But we can see her reflection in the mirror; her lips aren't moving.
12 Runaway
The whole time sequence in the last part of the movie is messed up. After trying to nab the bad guys at the hotel, Tom Selleck goes home and puts his son to bed, then is called back in to work, and then the rest of the film is supposed to be the same evening, but it was already late night.
13 Romancing the Stone
When Michael Douglas attempts to swing on a vine over a deep abyss, the (fake) rock that he runs into on the other side gives like a marshmallow.
14 Children of the Corn
When the two lead characters pull up to a stop in the car, the shot is dead-on from the driver's side, and you can clearly see the entire camera crew reflected in the side of the car.
15 Conan the Destroyer
When Zula is fighting Bombaata, she leaps from the saddle and throws herself on him, knocking his head-circlet off from the impact of collision. In the very next shot, Bombaata's circlet is back on his head as he struggles with Zula.
16 Amadeus
When Salieri has brought Mozart to bed and they are talking, Salieri is holding the candlestick. In the different views - from Mozart's and Salieri's - it can be seen that the angle he holds the candles changes. The line between the candles changesi. So Saleri held the candlestick in another angle the second time the scene was shot.
17 Odd Jobs
Early in the movie, we see "Woody" driving a 1969 or 1970 Red Mustang. At the end of the movie, when he is driving his friends over to the mayor's house, he is driving a much older Mustang, either a 1965 or 1966. It is red like the first one, but the car's body style is obviously very different.
18 The Lonely Guy
When Warren is playing the electronic chess game, the hand on the chess arm that Warren shakes after the game appears from nowhere.
19 Splash
When Tom Hanks is in the dinghy by himself, the outboard motor has no cover. He falls into the water and the dinghy circles him several times. One of the shots shows the motor with its cover in place. (It is an Evinrude motor).
20 Repo Man
The first car he jacks (white chevy) is a 4 door car in one shot and a 2 door car in the next.
21 Blame it on Rio
When Matthew is shaving and Jennifer is distracting him, the cut on his cheek changes position throughout the scene.
22 Breakin'
During the second "break fight" against Electro Rock in the club, there is a shot of Turbo wearing a grey windbreaker while Ozone is dancing. In the next shot he is putting the jacket on and when Kelly gets on the floor, the jacket is nowhere in sight.
