In the scene in Mac's house after Cody gets hurt surfing, Mac reaches for some tequila. Joanne remarks that she thinks he's had enough to drink if he wants to be able to hear Cody if he needs anything from upstairs - but Mac had just finished his first shot when she said it. [Character decision. Joanne knows how much he can drink if he gets carried away, and wants him to have a clear head to talk to Cody.]
