In the scene with the last match between DDP and Jimmy King, when Jimmy King is on top of the cage and grabs the belt, he is holding it up. It shows the belt has a nameplate on it saying Jimmy King. If DDP was the champ, wouldn't the nameplate read DDP, or Diamond Dallas Page? See more...
The wrestling organisation that is in this film(WCW) thought it would get good publicity to put their major title (the WCW Heavyweight championship) on the star of this film, David Arquette. Sure enough he won the title in a tag team match, but quickly lost it a few weeks later, in a triple cage match (an idea from this film). Shortly after this happened, WCW went out of business.
