Other mistake: In the scene with the last match between DDP and Jimmy King, when Jimmy King is on top of the cage and grabs the belt, he is holding it up. It shows the belt has a nameplate on it saying Jimmy King. If DDP was the champ, wouldn't the nameplate read DDP, or Diamond Dallas Page?

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the match Shawn comes down and gets set on fire. Straight afterwards and during the match there are no scorch marks, but at the end of the match, when King grabs the belt, there are.

Continuity mistake: In the scene with the truck wreck, they show the truck sliding at the wreck. When you see the naked ladies on the grill, the truck has a hood, but in the long views, the truck is a cab-over (no hood).

Trivia: Chris Kanyon served as Oliver Platt's stunt double.

Trivia: The wrestling organisation that is in this film(WCW) thought it would get good publicity to put their major title (the WCW Heavyweight championship) on the star of this film, David Arquette. Sure enough he won the title in a tag team match, but quickly lost it a few weeks later, in a triple cage match (an idea from this film). Shortly after this happened, WCW went out of business.
